Ejector and starting hole drilling in 1.2379 60+2 HRC
In our Solution Center, we drilled ejector and starting holes with our EMSBH and NSBH drills to evaluate the effectiveness of drilling without water cooling in 1.2379 60+2 HRC.
We cooled / lubricated with an air-medium mixture (MHT-MV-2) via the Merz medium distributor.
The holes were drilled very precisely and reliably so that the ejector pins fitted perfectly into all holes.
➡️Our hard drills enable faster production compared to wire EDM. Cost-effectiveness calculations by our Production50 consultants show the added value in terms of time and costs.
