We promised to cut 25 tons of plastic this year. We just counted, and it came in at 35. See all the numbers in our Sustainability Statement 2025 ➡️ https://tinyurl.com/35yx5meh

The report breaks down how we cut emissions, saved plastics and advanced circular design across QIAGEN.

✅ Environment

In 2025, we cut our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 4% compared to 2024 and exceeded our plastic reduction target.

✅ Social

In 2025, we earned 10 Employer of Choice awards across EMEA, the Americas and APAC. We also certified fair pay practices at six locations covering 65% of our workforce, reinforcing our commitment to transparency and fairness for our people.

✅ Governance

Our responsible sourcing efforts continue to advance. In 2025, 62% of our suppliers (measured by emissions) had sustainable engagement goals in place, and we are targeting 67% by 2027. We also reached 90% completion of cyber security awareness training across the company, strengthening our resilience and data protection.

These results mark another step in our ongoing commitment to responsible growth. We continue to invest in meaningful initiatives, broaden our partnerships and embed sustainability deeper into our operations.

For Kimberley Howarth-Munro, our Associate Director, Dx Assay Development, the impact of her work became clear when her father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The treatment that helped him was linked to a QIAGEN companion diagnostic that Kimberley herself had previously worked on. In that moment, the work our teams do every day took on new meaning: improving lives through science.

Kimberley joined QIAGEN more than thirteen years ago on what was meant to be a six-month maternity cover contract as a scientist. Since then her role has evolved significantly. Today she oversees resource planning for more than 140 colleagues while directly leading a team of 20 with a strong focus on developing people through training, collaboration and shared knowledge.

Her impact goes beyond her role. Kimberley also leads the charity committee at our Manchester site, bringing colleagues together through events that support local causes including Francis House, Manchester Children's Hospital, Coffee4Craig and Cancer Research UK.

As Kimberley puts it, “A strong community doesn’t just happen. You build it, nurture it and make space for people to connect, share and grow together.”

On World Prostate Cancer Day, Kimberley's story is a reminder of the personal impact behind scientific progress. Every advancement in diagnostics has the potential to help patients and families navigate some of life's most challenging moments. Through the dedication of colleagues like Kimberley, we continue working to make improvements in life possible.

QIAGEN and Parse Biosciences joined forces and we are excited to be at in Budapest this week.

Together, we're showcasing integrated workflows that help researchers uncover the molecular landscape of cancer, from sample preparation and single-cell analysis to NGS and digital PCR.

Thanks to all who joined our symposium on tumor infiltrating gamma delta T-cells with Prof. Domenico Mavilio. We had a great discussion on how transcriptome and repertoire profiling can help us better understand tumor and immune cell biology.

Visitors are enjoying the first European sneak-peek at QIAmini – coming soon for easily accessible DNA and RNA purification.

If you're attending EACR, stop by booth 52 – we'd love to connect and discuss your cancer research projects.

We are stepping up to support infectious disease research and surveillance efforts for the Bundibugyo ebolavirus outbreak. Learn more 👉 https://tinyurl.com/42jyph3h

As reliable genomic data becomes available, laboratories need flexible tools they can evaluate and slot into their existing workflows.

✅ Two custom-designed research-use-only (RUO) QIAcuity digital PCR assays now available to target Bundibugyo ebolavirus sequences associated with the current outbreak

✅ Assays designed for integration into existing QIAcuity to support research, wastewater surveillance and analytical evaluation by qualified laboratories

✅ Our broader Sample to Insight portfolio includes kits for sample preparation and next-generation sequencing to support outbreak research workflows

Public health preparedness depends on the ability of laboratories to evaluate emerging pathogen targets as reliable genomic information becomes available. Our goal remains clear: no country should be left behind when new threats emerge.

These assays are intended for research use only and are not intended for diagnostic procedures.

Running a high-throughput clinical lab means striving to deliver results with high sensitivity and high accuracy, which all starts with reliable sample extraction. But what if your extraction process could deliver even more?

Automation has always been central to fast-paced clinical testing labs, who are under immense pressure to deliver results with confidence despite rising sample numbers. More samples mean productivity is stretched and sample traceability becomes more complex. Smart automation that can quickly adapt to changing needs, whether it's input volumes, applications or even sample numbers, is the future.

A new IVD automated sample extraction platform is on the horizon, designed to support clinical testing by combining:

✅High DNA/RNA yields for increased downstream assay sensitivity
✅Fast, efficient workflows that boost productivity
✅Simplified sample tracking and seamless digital integration
✅A future-proof platform built to scale with your lab

One system. Multiple applications. Consistent performance you can trust. Automated sample extraction that always ends on a high note. See what's next ➡️ https://tinyurl.com/msase86x
