🎉The BioMex Certificate Programme just launched in Ghana and we onboarded the inaugural cohort in Accra and Kumasi.

🎓As we enter the second week of the semester we want to foster a sense of belonging and community for all our new students. We encourage you to reach out to us with any question or query you may have, support each other and engage on the online learning platform OLAT.

As an innovative blended learning programme in biotechnology, BioMex continues to push boundaries and create new spaces for growth – for our learners and for ourselves.

Creating Impact,” capturing highlights from our three-day workshop in Kigali, Rwanda – where we looked back on the , explored challenges and strengths, and co-created a vision for the future of Biomex with students, lecturers, and partners.

📣 What a month in the !

March was a time for revisiting, reviewing, and reconnecting.

🌍 We had the privilege of returning to the place where it all began two years ago, Kigali, to engage with colleagues, partners, and graduates. Together, we reflected on our progress, discussed future opportunities, and celebrated the impressive achievements of our alumni.

The BioMex Journey continues: Proud to reconnect with our alumni at BioNTech Rwanda in Kigali!

✨A highlight of our visit to Kigali last week was the opportunity to meet with alumni of the BioMex programme who are now part of the first cohort of the BioNTech Rwanda Trainee Programme, marking a significant opportunity in their professional development journey.

🧑‍🎓The discussion focused on the important link between academic training and industry needs. Hearing directly from graduates about how the BioMex programme helped prepare them for their current roles was both encouraging and motivating for the team.

🧪It was especially rewarding to see how former BioMex participants are now applying their knowledge in a real-world biotechnology environment and contributing to the growth of the sector in Africa.

🤝Encounters like these underline the value of collaboration between training initiatives and industry partners to strengthen skills development and career pathways in the biomedical field.
