Optimizing trim waste handling at AG-FOIL Bohemia

At AG-FOIL Bohemia, efficient label production depends on smooth and reliable waste removal, especially when extracting trim from six machines running at speeds of up to 250 m/min.

To support this process, a CB all-in-one unit was installed to simplify waste removal from the label production trim line, helping them achieve:

When matrix cannot be rewound, it can quickly turn into a bottleneck that requires manual handling and disrupts production flow.

That was the challenge at ABC Etiketten Product Service Kip GmbH in Nordhorn, Germany. So, owner Andreas Quaink reached out to Matho to find a better way to manage the oddly shaped matrix.

We installed a CB extraction unit to cut and extract the matrix and trim directly from the process, providing a practical alternative to rewinding. The CB concept combines cutting and extraction in one system and is built to improve waste handling efficiency with easy integration, low maintenance, and quiet operation.
