Another great opportunity to spend time with our Commercial Partners, this time with our CPs from across EEMEA in Antalya, Türkiye!

The meeting of the quarter was filled with open discussions, shared experiences, and valuable learning from one another. It's always worthwhile to step away from virtual meetings, connect face-to-face, and align on how we can better support our customers - and each other.

Of course, it wasn't all business. We celebrated recent successes, strengthened existing partnerships, spent an evening on the bowling lanes, and enjoyed some fantastic Turkish cuisine.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the meeting both productive and enjoyable. We're excited about what's ahead and look forward to continuing our journey together! ✨

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ On June 17, our Leipzig team hit the starting line for the annual Leipzig Firmenlauf, and what a great evening it was!

Together with more than 22,000 participants, we joined one of Germany's largest corporate running events, taking on the 4.9 km course through Leipzig alongside colleagues from hundreds of local companies.

The Firmenlauf is a fantastic opportunity to promote health and wellbeing, strengthen team spirit, and connect with the local business community, all while having a lot of fun. 🎉

After crossing the finish line, we celebrated together with well-earned food, drinks, and plenty of smiles. 💪

Already looking forward to next year's run!

What does success look like in the laboratory?

For Merefelts Livestock Diagnostics, it means rapidly distinguishing vaccine-derived from field PRRSV strains while improving diagnostic efficiency and supporting faster herd-level decisions.

Here's what Lab Manager Henri Beulen had to say about his experience with the virotype® PRRSV EU Vax RT-PCR Kit.

"We are very satisfied with this new test kit which was developed in direct response to Merefelts’ needs. Its key advantage, particularly on farms where live PRRSV vaccines are used, is the rapid and reliable differentiation between vaccine virus and field virus following a positive general PRRSV PCR result. This enables us to provide clear answers to our clients much faster while also reducing costs, as sequencing is no longer required to make this distinction (except for more detailed characterization, such as phylogenetic investigations).

In light of the National PRRS Plan and the expected increase in PCR testing, this kit represents a highly valuable tool that enhances both diagnostic efficiency and herd-level decision-making."

Myth vs. Fact: “Deworming Is Always Necessary”

Myth: All pets need deworming every month.

Fact: In Europe, only ~15% of dogs and ~25% of cats carry roundworms, many are treated unnecessarily. Regular f***l tests help avoid overmedication and resistance to deworming when it’s needed.

Takeaway: Ask your vet about testing first. It’s the smarter, healthier choice.

This week, together with Techniker Krankenkasse (TK), we successfully launched our INDICAL Health Days 2026 with the first session: Head & Shoulder Analysis, delivered by GFA Haltungskonzepte.

The session focused on posture, mobility, and relieving neck & shoulder tension, offering practical guidance and personalized insights to support healthier everyday work routines.

We're excited to see such strong engagement already, with 20 onsite participants and 4 online participants joining the first session and sharing positive feedback.
