What do filters have to do with AI?

AI needs powerful data centers. And data centers need a lot of energy to stay cool. In fact, around 40% of their energy can go into cooling.

Filtration plays an important role here. Filters help protect sensitive equipment and keep cooling systems running efficiently — with an impact on energy use, operating costs, and emissions.

Two sculptures. Two directions. One shared vision.

On August 27, two new steel sculptures were unveiled at our Shanghai plant. Created specifically for the site by German artist Herbert Mehler, the artworks are named FUSO and SPOLA – both names of Italian origin.

Facing each other like two guardians, the sculptures initially appear to represent two opposing movements:

• FUSO turns inward. It stands for security, protection, and concentrated strength.
• SPOLA reaches outward. It represents openness, connection, and the release of energy.

But these two directions are not opposites. They complement each other, similar to Chinese “Yin & Yang”, creating a balance between inner strength and outward connection.

This balance reflects our “In China, For Global” strategy: combining global expertise with local insights while connecting China’s experience, technology, and innovation with the world.

With FUSO and SPOLA, we have now given this vision a visible form.

In ultrafiltration, one number can shape the entire separation process.

The term “10 kDa” describes the membrane’s molecular weight cut-off. In simple words, it helps define which molecules are retained and which can pass through.

For dairy applications, this is important because it supports the separation of proteins from smaller components like lactose and minerals. Selecting the right cut-off is therefore essential to achieving the required protein concentration and product characteristics.

Our TRISEP 10kUF uses a nominal 10,000 Da cut-off for targeted separation in dairy applications.

Ten years ago, our plant in Poland joined our company. Ten years shaped by commitment, expertise and resilience.

This anniversary is about more than a date. It is about the people who have contributed to our success and continue to strengthen our plant every day. Their experience, dedication and team spirit have helped shape the site we know today.

As part of our 10th anniversary celebrations, we successfully achieved a Guinness World Records Title for the largest boxed product number, featuring the number “10” to symbolize our ten years together.
