What a Show! EWM at FABTECH 2026

FABTECH 2026 in Las Vegas is behind us! We look back on exciting discussions, live demonstrations, and many interesting encounters centered around welding technology.

With our own exhibit space at the ESAB booth, we celebrated our first major trade show appearance on American ground. A special milestone for EWM! 🚀

We showcased highlights from our XQ series at the trade show, including the Tetrix XQ and the Titan XQ, as well as our automation solutions, with a particular focus on our REACT system. During our live demonstrations, visitors were able to experience our welding technology in action.

However, FABTECH was about more than just technology. Engaging in personal interactions and conversations with you helped us to better understand the American market and gain valuable insights into visitors' expectations and requirements.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our presence at FABTECH and made these three days so special!🙌

Perspektiven wechseln. Arbeitswelten entdecken. 🤝

Der Aktionstag „Sichtwechsel durch Schichtwechsel“ bringt Menschen mit und ohne Beeinträchtigung zusammen. Er ermöglicht neue Einblicke in unterschiedliche Arbeitswelten und bietet Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung die Chance, wertvolle Erfahrungen auf dem allgemeinen Arbeitsmarkt zu sammeln.

Wir bei EWM freuen uns, in diesem Jahr Teil der Aktion gewesen zu sein und Marc gemeinsam mit seinem Betreuer von der Rhein-Mosel-Werkstatt bei uns empfangen zu haben.

Nach einer kurzen Begrüßung ging es auf Entdeckungstour durch unser Werk 2. Dabei erhielt Marc unter anderem spannende Einblicke in unsere Produktion, das L***r und die Brennerfertigung.

Anschließend hieß es: selbst ausprobieren! 🔧 Marc durfte einen BlinkyDu löten – und hatte dabei sichtlich Spaß. Natürlich durfte aber auch das Schweißen nicht fehlen: In unserem Werk 1 konnte er selbst den Brenner in die Hand nehmen und unsere Schweißtechnik hautnah erleben. 🔥

Der Tag hat uns gezeigt, wie wichtig solche Begegnungen sind, um neue Perspektiven zu eröffnen und gegenseitiges Verständnis zu stärken.

Vielen Dank an die Rhein-Mosel-Werkstatt, dass wir Teil dieser Aktion sein durften! Ein besonderer Dank geht an Marc für sein großes Interesse und den tollen gemeinsamen Tag. 🙌

Changing perspectives. Discovering working environments. 🤝

The ‘Sichtwechsel durch Schichtwechsel’ action day brings together people with and without disabilities, offering new insights into different working environments and valuable experience in the mainstream labour market.

We were delighted to welcome Marc and his support worker from the Rhein-Mosel-Werkstatt to EWM. During a tour of Plant 2, Marc explored our production facilities, warehouse and torch manufacturing process.

He also got hands-on experience by soldering a BlinkyDu 🔧 and trying out our welding technology in Plant 1. 🔥

The day highlighted how important such encounters are for opening up new perspectives and strengthening mutual understanding.

Many thanks to the Rhein-Mosel-Werkstatt for this opportunity and to Marc for his enthusiasm and a wonderful day! 🙌
