Agriculture Worldwide: A Brazilian record

Whilst the smallgrain harvest in Europe is largely complete and the corn harvest is still some way off in many places, a potential record has already been set on another continent!

Brazil is one of the largest countries in the world in terms of area and, with nearly eight percent of its land devoted to agriculture, has established itself as a major grain producer. Corn is grown year-round in Brazil through two production cycles. The first crop (summer corn) is typically planted between September and December, while the second crop, known as safrinha corn, is planted after the soybean harvest and has become the country's main corn-producing season.

So let's get back to the Brazilian record: Using the Fendt IDEAL 9T combine, an impressive 2,599 tonnes of corn were harvested within 24 hours this month at Fazenda Recanto in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. This simultaneously set new local records for 8 hours (912.7 tonnes), 12 hours (1,247.7 tonnes) and 24 hours, which were officially certified by RankBrasil.
The facts:
✅ 235.2 ha in 24 hours
✅ Average grain throughput of 108 t/h
✅ Minimal grain losses
✅ Maximum efficiency: 9.17 litres/ha or 0.83 litres/to

Further proof of the performance, efficiency and reliability of the Fendt IDEAL under the most demanding conditions. 💚

Sustainability at Fendt: Our team spirit knows no boundaries - whether in the development of our machines or on the sports field. Together, we sweat, fight, and cheer!
You really feel this during the M-net Company Run, when the Fendt runners tackle a 5.3-kilometer course side by side and cross the finish line together.
The same goes for Stadtradeln, a Germany-wide initiative that encourages participants to swap their cars for bikes over 21 days and track every kilometer. Here the Fendt teams compete for every single kilometer.
Also the Fendt Soccer Tournament is an integral sportive part of the Fendt annual calendar.
Over a cold drink, we finally put the sporting competition behind us and strengthen the team spirit that makes Fendt so special.

Island farming: We celebrate the 50,000th Fendt 900 Vario, so let's take a look, where this tractor series is used:
Peter Carstens (Klaus Störtebeker Landwirtschaftsgesellschaft mbH) manages 1,000 hectares on Germany's island of Rügen. The fleet: five Fendt tractors, a Fendt Rotana and more Fendt forage harvesting machinery.
The Fendt 942 Vario with dual tyres handles Rügen's hilly terrain - more traction, less ground pressure, better soil protection. And FendtONE ensures centimetre-precise work across every field.
The Baltic Sea gives the farm a natural edge: cooler temperatures in summer help crops thrive. Combined with fertile soil, organic suckler cow farming and 20 years of Fendt partnership — this is agriculture shaped by land and technology.

We celebrate the 50,000th Fendt 900 Vario, so it's time for another testimonial!
At just 0.1 km/h, a Fendt 942 Vario drives a massive soil stabilization milling machine 40 cm into the ground – preparing surfaces for future buildings: zero dust emissions and a rock-solid, load-bearing surface.
"Our clients value the clean, dust-free solution – and this is exactly what we deliver with this setup," says Sebastian Brennich, Head of Machinery & Technical Systems of construction company Ernst Höbel GmbH near Marktoberdorf.
The company has been relying on the Fendt 900 series for years. And since 2023, it's a Fendt 942 Vario. With over 1,000 operating hours per year, this machine earns its keep.
And another reason the Höbel team chose Fendt: they buy where they earn their money. A German-built machine – made right in Marktoberdorf.
