Hey there! It was quite a long time without any updates about our project. We´re sorry for that but to be honest there was nothing new to post. So what´s going on at the moment?
As mentioned long time ago we weould really like to continue with building our OVHD. We allready got all our great looking OVHD panels from JAASimulators. So at the moment we´re short before placing our next order for the first OVHD electrical parts.
Meanwhile we use the time for a complete reinstall of all of our 5 PCs. So tonight we´re going to format all of them and reinstall Windows7 on every system. And because we have to reinstall Flight Simulator as well we decided to switch to Prepar3d. So hopefully we´ll have a working simulator again tomorrow evening. We hope we´ll get some more frames with P3D and a clean system. In the last days we just got about 2-7 FPS in final approach phase with FSX.
So keep your fingers crossed for us so that we´ll have a nice running setup tomorrow evening. We´ll keep you updated.

Hi there! Yesterday we made our first experiences with live streaming on twitch.tv

So what to tell you...
The Logitech system is definitely worth it's money and an great update for our simulator! We installed the subwoofer in the upper pedestal so you really have vibrations in the thrust lever when giving take off thrust.
The satellite speakers are arranged around the cockpit so we now have a nice surround sound.
Unfortunately there was now way to get the Reckhorn system working. Looks like the amplifier is broken, because there was really no signal reaching the speakers. I'll try to get in contact with the manufacturer tomorrow. I hope he tells me that there is an easy and cheap way to repair.

"Because you know I'm all about that bass"
I got two Reckhorn bass shakers for birthday a couple of days ago and today I received the belonging amplifier.
But when I went through a mall today I thought feeling the bass will be nice but we have to hear it, as well. So just a after a short stop at the electronic market we are now owner of the Logitech Z906 5.1 system.
We'll set up all the audio stuff tomorrow and if my neighbors don't kill us we will let you how it feels to take off with the right sound.
