One stat that stuck with us from Agentic Unlocks last week came from the attendee poll. Only 16% of engineering teams have AI actually embedded in daily work. Most of the room is still just poking at it. That's the gap 1,000+ engineers and leaders showed up to talk through, across 13 sessions, with speakers from NVIDIA, Siemens, Onshape, Capgemini, Convion, Dexory, CoLab, and Thornton Tomasetti all comparing notes.
A few things we took away from the sessions:
⚡ Convion took a CFD optimization that normally eats weeks and ran it in 10–15 minutes — landing on a component 50% smaller than their original design, within 5% of full-CFD accuracy.
⚡Dexory automated setup across 198 contacts and 192 connectors per tower section and found a mounting orientation that runs 12°C cooler, in under half an hour.
⚡PTC Onshape had an LLM write a reusable CAD tool in a single day, a job they'd estimated at 150 hours by hand.
⚡And CoLab's DFM checks were hitting 80%+ accuracy on the first pass, with SimScale agents quietly re-validating geometry changes behind the scenes.
