Solar panels on our rooftops ☀️ powering a more sustainable future.
At our Ovar plant in Portugal, we've installed 2,130 photovoltaic modules across 8,000 m² of roof space. This system now covers 14.5% of the site’s energy needs, producing clean electricity and saving over 3,220 tons of CO₂ – the equivalent of planting 175,000 trees. 🌳
As our sustainability manager Paulo Teixeira puts it:
"Of course, efficiency plays an important role in the decision to go solar, but for our team, it’s mainly a contribution to future generations."
