How does reliable affect healthcare delivery in isolated areas?

The transition to the with the BOS system pro at it's core has brought a remarkable transformation ro Luuk Municipal Hospital. Dr. Jodl Isahac shares, "Our bed occupancy rate has increased from 70% to 85% and continues to rise." This surge is a direct result of the stable and reliable .

Extended operating hours mean that is more accessible, and the reduction in patient fees has made medical services more affordable. "We have also become more attractive to employees," Dr. Isahac adds.

"It is now possible to operate the laboratory 24/7," states Charizze Daraug, a medical technologist at the hospital. This round-the-clock operation has been crucial for time-sensitive diagnostics and treatments, ensuring that critical services like blood storage are consistently maintained at the required temperatures. The hospital's ability to provide continuous care has improved health outcomes.

🪙 Economic and environmental synergy
The economic savings from the shift to solar energy are substantial. They amount to an average of 1,069 to 1,247 USD per month that can now be invested in further medical care improvements or community projects.

What does a sustainable and cost-effective solution look like for a hospital far away from civilization?

On Aug 12, 2022, through a collaboration within the framework of the Renewable Energy Solutions Programme (RES programme), BOS, the local installer GoGridless, and the Norwegian project developer Differ Community Power successfully commissioned a , answering the pressing question of sustainable long-term power supply for remote facilities.

🌍 In a region often hit by natural disasters, our system ensures reliable, 24/7 power supply. It's a game-changer not just for Luuk Hospital but also for seven other healthcare facilities in the Philippines, adding a total of 450 kWh of and 220 kWp of modules to the nation's healthcare infrastructure.

Empowering Ethiopian Communities through Electricity Solutions

🔋 This August supplied five remote villages across Ethiopia, with 650 kWp and a total storage of 1.6 MWh in lithium batteries. Empowered by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH nearly 4000 households will receive and reliable electricity.

💧 The provided enables solar-powered water pumps, transforming daily life in Ethiopian communities by eliminating the need of walking miles for water. Making running water locally accessible.

⚡At the heart of this is the BOS System Pro, a pre-assembled, turnkey solution that simplifies installation and swiftly brings the benefits of solar energy to remote, off-grid areas.

🤝 The event showcased the groundbreaking work done by our partners GO GRIDLESS and Differ Community Power using BOS technology across the Philippines. This is more than technology; it's about empowering communities and advancing progress.
🏥 Dr. Isahac from Luuk District Hospital presented this as a notable example - an exemplar of off-grid applications where BOS tech is making a remarkable difference. Seeing our technology improving lives and providing much-needed resources in off-grid environments reaffirms the value of our mission.
