Driving the future of man-made fibers

At ITM, leading supplier Barmag with its product brands Barmag and Neumag is showcasing cutting-edge innovations across the entire man-made fiber process chain – from melt to yarn, staple fibers and nonwovens. For the first time, Barmag is presenting itself alongside its new parent company, Rieter: At this year’s ITM in Istanbul, both companies will be represented from June 9 to 13 at the Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center in Hall 7, Booth 702B.

Barmag and Rieter – A Strong Start Together in Remscheid, Germany

Following the successful closing of the Barmag acquisition, the teams were truly thrilled to come together for their first joint townhall meeting in Remscheid, Germany. It marked an important milestone as Thomas Oetterli, CEO of the Rieter Group, and Georg Stausberg, CEO of the Man-Made Fiber Division, shared a clear vision for the road ahead – followed by an open and energizing discussion with new colleagues.

New FiberGuard BCF yarn tension sensor

FiberGuard BCF is the name of the new system for real-time monitoring of yarn tension in all Neumag BCF production processes. Barmag, the innovation and technology leader for filament spinning systems, presented this innovation of its Neumag product line at ITMA Asia + CITME in Singapore last November. The new BCF yarn tension sensor is compatible with all current Neumag BCF machines and can be easily retrofitted to existing Neumag BCF S8 machines.
