Yamaha strengthens robotics presence in India

Today, Yamaha Motor announced the opening of a new sales and service facility for its Robotics Business in Gurugram, India — a strategic step to support business expansion in one of the fastest-growing manufacturing markets.
The new facility is designed to:
✅ Strengthen local sales and service capabilities
✅ Improve customer support and response time
✅ Provide a showroom environment where customers can experience Yamaha’s latest robotics solutions first-hand

India’s manufacturing sector is advancing rapidly, with strong growth expected in automation and robotics. With this new base, Yamaha aims to further enhance its presence, support customers more closely, and contribute to productivity improvements on the factory floor.
The facility will initially cover SMT equipment and industrial robots, with future expansion planned into semiconductor back-end equipment.

Special return modules for cost-saving return line design

Yamaha Robotics has expanded the LCMR200 linear transfer system with new Free Modules for a simplified design that reduces system cost without losing precision.

The modular LCMR200 system lets integrators build actively positioned transport for assembly and packaging with directly driven, traceable sliders. Capable of carrying loads up to 30kg, the LCMR200 modules permit processes such as screwdriving, dispensing, push-fitting, and palletising directly on the slider for speed and simplicity.
