🔧 Behind the Scenes at SABEU: Meet Armin Mujakovic!
Armin joined SABEU in 2016 as a cutting machine operator. Today, he leads our Toolmaking department and, since August, has also been shaping the next generation as a trainer for our apprentices.
⚙️ Driven by Precision and Passion
What motivates Armin? Precision, teamwork, and the magic of transforming raw metal into high-precision tool components.
A true technology enthusiast, he loves tinkering with cars or spending time with his family in the garden. Originally from Bosnia, Armin returned to Germany in 2016 - and found his way to SABEU by chance.

💼 Craftsmanship Meets Innovation
Together with his ten-person team, Armin manufactures tools for all SABEU business units - from innovative plastic solutions to cutting-edge medical technology.
He describes the toolmaking department as an “emergency room for tools”, where precision and timing are everything.
When a new tool is needed, the process begins with design and preparation: technical drawings and 3D models are created in CAD/CAM systems. Then, under Armin’s coordination, the designs come to life - through turning, CNC milling, grinding, and assembly. Every step demands accuracy, teamwork, and a steady hand.
🤝 Teamwork at Its Core
For Armin, trust and collaboration are the foundation of success.
“Competent, reliable, trustworthy - that’s how I’d describe my team. Everyone contributes something. A tool consists of many parts that must fit perfectly - just like a good team.”
Since August, Armin has also taken on the role of trainer for apprentices in toolmaking.
“It’s amazing to see how they grow, take responsibility, and gain confidence. I get to pass on my knowledge - and I learn a lot from them too.”
Currently, he mentors two apprentices training to become tool mechanics.
🚀 Looking Back - and Ahead
Reflecting on his time at SABEU, Armin recalls the move to the new production hall in 2018 as a defining milestone.
“That was a real step forward - modern machines, more efficient workflows, but craftsmanship still lies at the heart of what we do.”
