📍 ANOVA Institute for Regenerative Medicine | Offenbach, Germany

We are developing a new Healthy Aging & Regenerative Medicine Program and are looking for a Sports Medicine Physician to help us build and medically establish the sports medicine and physical performance component.

Your role will include:
• Developing our Sports Medicine & Healthy Aging concept
• Establishing performance diagnostics – VO₂max, cardiovascular fitness, strength, mobility & body composition
• Developing individualized exercise and performance programs
• Supporting muscle preservation, sarcopenia prevention & functional longevity
• Defining measurable outcomes and follow-up assessments
• Integrating sports medicine with our existing regenerative medicine treatments
• Developing the patient pathway together with our medical team

We are looking for:
✓ German Approbation
✓ Qualification/experience in Sports Medicine
✓ Experience in performance diagnostics & exercise medicine
✓ Strong interest in Healthy Aging, prevention & regenerative medicine
✓ German & English skills

This is an opportunity to help build a new medical program from the ground up, rather than simply join an established treatment pathway.

After 14 years of living with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), also known as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD), Robert had tried numerous treatments in search of relief.

Like many patients with CRPS, he experienced severe chronic pain, extreme sensitivity to touch, sleep disruption, and significant limitations in daily life. Despite years of conventional therapies, his symptoms remained largely unchanged.

CRPS remains one of the most challenging chronic pain conditions to treat. While current therapies can help manage symptoms, many patients continue to struggle with persistent pain and disability. Researchers are increasingly investigating the role of inflammation, immune dysregulation, and neuroimmune signaling in the disease process.

At ANOVA, we occasionally hear from patients with rare and difficult-to-treat conditions who are looking for additional options when conventional treatments have not provided satisfactory results. Stem cell-based approaches, including stem cell secretome therapy, are being explored for their potential effects on inflammation, immune signaling, and tissue repair mechanisms. However, it is important to note that these approaches remain experimental for CRPS and are not established treatments.

There is still a large unmet medical demand for pulmonary fibrosis. Modern antifibrotic treatments can reduce the deterioration of lung function, but they frequently fail to halt or reverse the underlying fibrotic remodeling.
We are investigating a novel multimodal treatment idea for pulmonary fibrosis at the ANOVA Institute for Regenerative Medicine:
• Antifibrotic medication to slow the progression of the illness
•Senolytic approaches targeting pathological cellular aging
• Stem cell secretome inhaled for immunomodulatory and local regeneration support
The objective is to biologically modify the fibrotic lung microenviroment in addition to slowing the disease's progression.
ANOVA is in a unique position to study cell-free regeneration techniques in conjunction with proven therapeutic processes because it is the only organization in Germany with a production authorization for mesenchymal stem cell secretome.

What actually happens behind secretome therapy?

The process begins with a small adipose tissue sample. From this, mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are isolated and cultivated under controlled conditions.

These cells are then used to produce the secretome, a complex mixture of bioactive signaling factors. After production, the MSCs are removed, leaving a cell-free product containing only the released components.

Following quality control, the final secretome can be applied systemically over multiple sessions.

The goal is not to introduce cells, but to use the biological signals they produce.

This allows for a structured and repeatable treatment process based on controlled production and application.
