How an MCB works
Key idea: An MCB automatically disconnects a circuit when the current becomes dangerously high, such as during an overload or short circuit.
Simple explanation:
⚡ Normal condition — current flows normally.
🔥 Overload — too much current causes the breaker to operate.
💥 Short circuit — a very high fault current causes rapid disconnection.
🔌 Trip — the contacts open and stop the current.
🔄 Reset — after the fault is safely cleared, the breaker can be switched back on.
