🚛 A lorry with a glass transport attachment has been delivered to a special customer in the trades sector!
We had the pleasure of building and handing over a custom-built MAN TGL 8.220 to Hermann Fimpeler, Regional Guild Master and Managing Director of the Glaziers’ Guild Association of North Rhine-Westphalia. The vehicle impresses not only with its 220 hp and a gross vehicle weight of 8 tonnes, but above all with its well-designed and practical transport attachment.
At its heart is the hot-dip galvanised special low-loader flatbed, designed for maximum flexibility in day-to-day work. With removable aluminium side rails, the vehicle can be adapted to suit the task at hand. When the side rails are removed, the vehicle has 400 mm high side panels all round and functions as a standard flatbed truck.
Details such as the integrated C-rails, the pre-fitted mounting for ramps to transport, for example, a mobile crane or a mini-excavator, and the high-quality aluminium front panel demonstrate that the focus here is on functionality and durability – exactly what we need in the trades.
