Small and square - it is rare!

Flipchips are semiconductor chips that are mounted n-and p- side down directly onto a substrate or printed circuit board. The name comes from the fact that the chip is “flipped” compared to conventional assembly and connection technology during the chip production process, bringing the active layer to the bottom of the chip.
Flipchips in a small and square format are generally rare in the market and open up additional degrees of freedom in the design of miniaturized modules.

New blue high-power laser diodes for many ideas!

The PLPT9 450MD_E is a 450 nm multi-mode laser diode in 7W optical output power for manufacturers and system integrators for a variety of applications where powerful ligth is needed.
Typical applications: Optical measurement systems, laboratory equipment, material processing, factory automation, projection and displays, pumping of solid-state-lasers, ...

The PLPT9 450MD_E laser diode is available in different power classes & wavelength groups from 434 - 470 nm.

Basic technical data:
• Peak wavelength: 450 nm (blue)
• 5-7 W optical output power depending on wavelength
• Emission mode is multi mode
• Integrated ESD diode
• Housing: TO90

High power multi-die Laser PLPM7 455QA_LL in 42W.
Blue emitting high power multi-die edge emitting laser includ- ing beam collimation for all kind of highest power application requiring phosphor conversion or direct emitting blue laser light emission.

Main applications are entertainment, outdoor and industrial lighting, display and projection.
