High precision with emulsion? Yes, it is possible. And that is exactly what we will be demonstrating live at the AMB in Stuttgart on our RPT450DS.

The RPT series combines milling, grinding, and measuring in a single machine. With PRECITEMP® E, a NEW innovative technology has been added that ensures high thermal stability and thus reliable precision, even when machining with emulsion.

This is particularly interesting for applications that combine tight tolerances, process reliability, and automated manufacturing processes.

And we will be demonstrating exactly this combination live at our stand.

Milling, Grinding, and Measuring on a Single Machine. LIVE in Istanbul.

From September 28 to October 3, 2026, MAKTEK Eurasia in Istanbul will once again serve as a meeting place for the international manufacturing industry. Together with our partner Tezmaksan Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. , we will be demonstrating what modern manufacturing solutions look like in practice at Hall 8, Booth 802.

The highlight will be a highly dynamic LIVE machining demonstration right on the floor. Visitors will be able to experience the capabilities of our RPT Series technology firsthand during the machining process. Milling, grinding, and measuring can be combined on a single machine, ensuring seamless processes and high precision in machining.

What makes the difference between a good surface and an excellent one? The running characteristics of the spindle plays a key role.

The smoother the spindle runs, the less vibration is introduced into the machining process. This can have a direct impact on surface quality and process stability. To achieve optimal results, we measure and analyze the performance of our spindles right from the commissioning stage.

The VL 8000 from Hofmann provides us with the right measurement technology for this purpose. Vibrations can be recorded and analyzed across the relevant speed range to optimize the alignment of the spindle with the machine.

Mehrere Bearbeitungsschritte. Eine Maschine. Ein durchgängiges Konzept.

Auf der W3+ Fair Jena 2026 zeigt Röders am Stand D15a, welche Möglichkeiten die Kombination verschiedener Fertigungsverfahren bietet.

Die RPT-Serie verbindet Fräsen, Schleifen und Messen innerhalb einer Maschine. Damit lassen sich unterschiedliche Bearbeitungs- und Messaufgaben in einem abgestimmten Fertigungsprozess zusammenführen. Gerade bei anspruchsvollen Bauteilen kann die Integration mehrerer Technologien interessante Ansätze für eine effiziente und präzise Fertigung bieten.

Precision begins where it cannot be seen at first glance. One example of this is the finishing of our machine beds for the RPT series.

These are manufactured on a Roeders RXU2000, a machine from our own product line. High-precision milling and coordinate grinding, direct-drive axes, and QUADROGUIDE create the conditions necessary for the required accuracy.

In-house technology for our own manufacturing, providing a consistent foundation for reliable, high-precision machining in the micrometer range.

AMB 2026: Röders bringt Hochpräzision nach Stuttgart.

Vom 15. bis 19. September ist Röders - Maschinen und Automation in Halle 7, Stand 7C41, auf der - Internationale Ausstellung für Metallbearbeitung in Stuttgart vertreten.

🆕 Im Mittelpunkt steht die RPT450DS, ausgestattet mit der neuesten Innovation PRECITEMP® E, verarbeitet ein Edelstahlgehäuse hochpräzise und garantiert einen temperaturstabilen Maschineninnenraum, selbst bei der Bearbeitung mit Emulsion, während die RPT600 mit Schleiföl das Koordinatenschleifen demonstriert.

Ergänzt wird die Ausstellung durch neue Werkstücke: von filigranen Zahnradformen in gehärtetem Stahl mit 0,03-mm-Werkzeug über einen hochgenauen Werkzeuglängenabgleich mit besser als 1 µm in Z-Richtung bis hin zu Glanzoberflächen in Stahl, die mit 70 % weniger Bearbeitungszeit hergestellt werden.

🔍 Zu sehen gibt es damit nicht nur Maschinen, sondern konkrete Lösungen für anspruchsvolle Fertigungsaufgaben.

What makes a machining center user-friendly?

Sometimes it is the details in day-to-day operation. With the RPT series, this ranges from the RMS6 control system to the accessibility of the work area.

The control system supports ISO/G-code and Heidenhain®-format (with limited scope). Different programming methods can be combined, and NC programs can be simulated directly on the machine. Icons, text, and hotkeys ensure quick orientation and short training times.

You also always have a clear view of the machining area. Large front and side windows provide excellent visibility, while access from two sides offers particular advantages for automated machines. Additional lights provide optimal visibility in the work area and on the workpiece. 💡
