Today we are meeting Antonio Pantaleo, our Warehouse Operative!🚀

Originally from Italy, Antonio moved to the UK in his twenties where he met his wife and, after a couple of years in the Caribbean, decided to settle down. Having now worked at HYDAC for five years he has had the chance to work across two of our sites, whilst enhancing his career.

We asked Antonio about his experience working for HYDAC, here's what he had to say:
"Having a good work ethic has really helped me to develop at HYDAC, starting off at the Charlbury site, then moving to Witney as a Warehouse Operative. I work on my own, and being able to see that my hard work is recognised by other departments is really rewarding.

HYDAC has shown extreme support in my career, investing in my professional development with training courses and providing patience whilst I worked to understand my current tasks before agreeing to take on more. I want to thank Jenna and Karen, who have played a large role in my strength and growth here.

The fact that I am trusted to run my own operation within HYDAC is a large motivator in my day-to-day, and being voted employee of the quarter is a great achievement - especially knowing that my work is appreciated by others."

Today we are meeting Alex Du Preez, one of our Industrial Sales Coordinators!🚀

After moving from South Africa in 2023, Alex spent her first year in the UK looking after her new-born daughter before deciding she wanted a sense of independence again, along with the opportunity to feel like part of a team. With previous experience working as an office manager for a small, family-run business selling industrial tools, Alex was keen to find a role that felt familiar whilst offering new challenges.

We asked Alex about what drew her to HYDAC, here's what she had to say:
"Whilst exploring Sales Coordinator opportunities, I was immediately drawn to HYDAC's values and the fact that it's a family-owned business. From day one I've felt like part of the family - welcomed and supported during what could have been quite a daunting time.

The people in my team are incredibly friendly, and have helped make the UK feel much more like home, truly reflecting HYDAC's family-focused culture. Their support, and constant belief in me - especially when I took over Sales Coordinator for Scotland - has really helped grow my confidence. Working in a fast-paced role has strengthened my prioritisation skills and has helped me realise I would like to continue growing within HYDAC.

One of the things I find most motivating in my role is being able to share positivity every day. Whether it's supporting colleagues, building a strong relationship with customers, or simply bringing a smile to someone's face, I believe that a positive attitude makes a huge difference."

Today we are going to meet Kalvin Singh, our Accessories Product Manager🚀

From Yorkshire, Kalvin joined HYDAC in August 2025 in a new role, moving from a local sales position to professionally grow and put his stamp on HYDAC. This role was created to provide customers with an insight into how HYDAC accessories can benefit their systems, and Kalvin spends his days meeting with different companies to share his perspective on how our services can help them - after starting his morning with a cup of Yorkshire tea of course!🍵

We asked Kalvin what he was most surprised to learn about HYDAC's culture, and here's what he had to say:
"HYDAC has made me feel at home, exceeding my expectations for support - both in the UK and internationally. Coming into this role from a smaller company background, I have a drive to succeed, and knowing how all of our products are made and tested gives me the confidence to build trusting relationships with customers.

Getting through to a customer and being able to build a partnership with them is one of my biggest day-to-day motivators, and this wouldn't be so easy to achieve if it weren't for my team. Their collaboration and support has helped me expand my customer reach as we share product insights, allowing confident recommendations when it comes to other product ranges."
