Last week, we held our Marabu Partner Meeting at our headquarters in Tamm, Germany. For two days, we discussed the latest trends and innovations in industries such as automotive, packaging, textiles, and more with our distributors and sales partners from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. It was great seeing so many of our sales partners in person. The meeting was helpful for us all, as we continue striving to be an innovative ink manufacturer and top service provider for our customers.

Our Newcomer Ultra Jet DLE-LV is a digital printing ink for graphic applications.
The low viscosity ink achieves outstanding print results with high resolution printheads such as Kyocera KJ4A, Ricoh Gen 5 and Samba print heads. In this video, our allround retarders SV5 and SV3 are shown. SV3 shows a significantly longer delay compared to the SV5 retardation profile.
For a longer mesh open time, we recommend our SV3 hardener.
Our portfolio offers a wide range of hardeners with different properties to meet diverse application needs.

In screen printing you can use retarders to achieve a significantly slower ev***ration rate, helping to keep the mesh open longer – a crucial factor when printing fine details and halftones.
At the same time, they influence:
- Drying speed
- Block resistance
- Ink viscosity
Retarders are typically added to thinners when higher print quality or slower production speeds are required.
