Today at realized by STARTUP AUTOBAHN powered by Plug'n'play, E Ink and Huf are demonstrating how vehicle access can evolve into an even more visual interaction.

The advanced car door handle with integrated E-Paper technology is more than a design feature. Visual effects, status information and intuitive guidance become part of the access experience itself. Instead of using simple light effects, the vehicle can provide clear visual feedback, support authorization processes and create a more personalized interaction. The concept is based on a joint project in which Huf and E Ink combined their expertise to enhance human-machine interaction.

Collaborations like this are an important part of Huf's innovation approach. Working with startups and technology partners allows us to explore new ideas faster, combine complementary expertise and bring fresh perspectives into the development of future vehicle access solutions.

For us, this project is another step towards the next generation of vehicle entry experiences - where mechanics, electronics, software and user interaction work together as one integrated system.

At Timotion 2026, Huf Romania was represented by 11 team members who took on the challenge across multiple race categories: from 21 km to 3 km. Each run carried a deeper meaning, as every participant supported one of the social projects included in the competition, ranging from education and sport to cancer support and other community initiatives.

A special highlight of the event was the outstanding performance of Adi Prisacariu, who secured first place in the 21 km race. An achievement that reflects dedication, endurance and strong commitment - both on track and beyond it.

Participation in Timotion once again showed how sport can connect performance with social responsibility, creating positive impact step by step.

Strengthening leadership from within.
Huf has expanded its internal trainer network with 13 newly certified colleagues from Europe and China, following 10 certifications in the Americas earlier this year. This milestone supports the global rollout of the First Line Leaders Program, combining standardized leadership development with strong local relevance.
By developing internal trainers across regions, Huf strengthens consistency, efficiency, and delivery in local languages - while empowering employees to shape leadership from within.

Ready. Safe. Healthy.

During the Occupational Health and Safety Week, colleagues from Huf Portuguesa participated in training, awareness, and simulation activities designed to support safe working practices and personal well-being while remaining closely aligned with operational requirements. The program addressed operational safety, emergency preparedness, health awareness, ergonomics, and coordinated emergency response.
Through this initiative, Huf Portuguesa reinforces a culture of prevention and continuous improvement, demonstrating how health and safety are embedded in the way work is done and serving as a strong example.

On April 23, colleagues around the world celebrated Huf Day – a global employee event dedicated to our shared contribution to the automotive industry. Every day, through our work, ideas, and commitment, we help move people and vehicles worldwide. Huf Day was our opportunity to pause for a moment, look at what we create together, and recognize that mobility starts with us.

Across locations, employees got in touch with Huf products and innovations, gaining closer insights into how our solutions contribute to mobility around the world. The day created space for curiosity, exchange, and a shared understanding of the impact of our daily work.
