We’re excited to celebrate your new publication:
“Lithium recovery from battery recycling water via salt metathesis using flow‑electrode capacitive deionization.”

In this impressive study, the researchers demonstrate a novel continuous flow‑electrode capacitive deionization (FCDI) process that enables salt metathesis to significantly enhance lithium recovery — a crucial step toward more sustainable battery recycling.

We are proud that ZUMOLab’s integrated measurement and control system supported this work by measuring conductivity, current, and voltage throughout the experiments.

Christian Moritz had the pleasure of giving a two-day course on Data Acquisition using NI-DAQmx and LabVIEW.

Participants gained hands-on experience and deep insights into building efficient data-acquisition systems using NI tools and LabVIEW programming.

We truly appreciate Stefan Lemmens for presenting at the LabVIEW User Group Meeting Euregio! 🙌

He provided us with some valuable insights into the changes between LabVIEW 2020 and LabVIEW 2025 Q3. Many exciting and useful features have been added — and it was a real treat to receive this information directly from a LabVIEW champion! 🏆

After the presentation, there was time for discussions, more LabVIEW questions, and of course… 🍕 pizza!

Today’s the day! Christian Moritz is kicking off his first LabVIEW Core 1 course for as a Certified Professional Instructor 🎓. Over the next 5 days, he’ll guide participants through their first steps in LabVIEW—all in an interactive online format!
We’re just as excited as they are—wishing everyone a great learning experience!

The hardware and software are complete! ✅

We are ready to implement the solution at the customer's site.
This customer has also purchased two additional standalone solutions for synchronized data collection. The data is stored on an SD card and can be conveniently downloaded via the web interface 🌐.

Thanks to its open-source nature, the software can be customized and maintained by the customer 🔧. This product integrates industry-standard technologies, including CODESYS, Node-RED, and OPC UA.
The entire software runs on the WL 2000 controller from , with uOS as the operating system ⚙️.
