🎨 Art, hanging out with colleagues, and an evening full of good vibes! 🎳

Aalborg CSP’s art association and staff association recently held their annual general meeting – a cozy evening where colleagues both connected and compeeded across departments.

After the meetings, the staff association welcomed new board members and several lucky members of the art association got to take home beautiful pieces of art. The evening also included delicious food, great company, and a friendly round of bowling – full of laughter and a bit of healthy competition – not to mention the golden cone.

Thank you to everyone who joined and helped make it a memorable night! We're already looking forward to next year.

Installation contributes to Hillerød Forsyning's green energy efforts ⚡.

We are making good progress with the installation of the new energy centre in Hillerød, which will supply district cooling to the new hospital in North Zealand and district heating to the town of Hillerød. A key part of the installation is a cold accumulation tank, which has now reached its full height of 22.5 metres.

Together with the groundwater wells and the future heat pumps, the cold accumulation tank will form a modern energy centre that will optimise the production of both district heating and district cooling. This technology is therefore a key component in Hillerød Forsyning's future energy efforts and plays an important role in the green infrastructure of the area.

Aalborg CSP Art Association gathers employees 🎨

Last week, the Art Association had the pleasure of welcoming us to an opening where Tine Lilholt exhibited a selection of her paintings. Tine Lilholt often combines her paintings with music, and this time she gave us an extra treat when she and her husband Klaus Thrane performed some of the songs associated with her work.

Once again, the Art Association provided a framework for colleagues to meet across departments and strengthen the CSP-community.

Tine Lilholt's paintings now decorate our corridors until the next opening.

From Denmark to Europe: Aalborg CSP brings experience to the European TREASURE project 🤝

In October, Andreas Hawel and Jonas Ilum Sørensen attended the 3rd consortium meeting in Stuttgart for the European TREASURE project. The aim of the project is to demonstrate and develop pit thermal energy storage (PTES) in district heating systems to decarbonize heating and promote sector coupling of heat and electricity.

Aalborg CSP is part of the project based on our extensive experience in designing and building energy systems and our patented PTES lid.

With our experience from Denmark, the goal is to build on that knowledge and show how the integration of PTES as a holistic storage solution in district heating networks can offer both short and long-term storage capacity - while optimizing production and consumption of both heat and electricity.

Focus on the challenges of the future ✨

Last week, representatives from Aalborg CSP attended the Maskinmestrenes Forenings annual Ajour fair 2024 in Odense – an exciting trade fair for marine engineers.

The event provided a great opportunity to strengthen our network. Moreover, it facilitated engaging dialogues about both the technical and commercial challenges the future holds.

Our colleagues Lasse Lykkegaard and Andreas Zourellis are currently attending the Industrial Heat Pump Conference in Prague.

In addition to networking with both business partners, current and future customers, they are also taking a closer look at how we can further develop our solutions so that we can continue to deliver the best energy solutions to our customers.
