The 200th V236-15.0 MW nacelle has left our Lindø factory.

This milestone reflects the important role Lindø, together with many of our European manufacturing sites, continues to play in delivering V236 turbines across the continent.

As we continue our offshore journey, Lindø remains focused on what matters most: quality, safety and delivering on our commitments to customers.

Nacelle number 200 is an important achievement, but it is far from the finish line as we strive to continuously improve our performance.

⚡ Vifor Wind Farm in Romania 🇷🇴 marks a major milestone with all 30 EnVentus turbines from Phase I now generating power.

Once fully operational, Vifor will feature 72 V162-6.4 MW EnVentus turbines and 461 MW of installed capacity, making it one of the largest onshore wind farms in Europe. Phase II is currently under construction and is expected to be completed next year.

Developed together with Rezolv Energy, Vifor is a testament to what can be achieved through close collaboration and proven ex*****on, with Vestas providing full engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solutions, along with 30 V162-6.4 MW turbines for Phase I.

It also serves as a strong proof point of the EnVentus platform's ability to deliver large-scale renewable energy solutions and create lasting value for customers.

From our first U.S. turbine orders in the early 1980s to today's giga-projects, we've spent more than four decades helping power homes, businesses and industries.

Today, wind energy provides around 11% of the nation's electricity, making it a vital part of the U.S. power system.

For decades, Vestas has helped deliver reliable, affordable and locally produced energy across the country, working alongside customers, partners and communities to build its wind energy industry.

EnVentus surpasses 15 GW installed worldwide!

Our flagship onshore platform has now grown into one of the industry's most versatile wind energy solutions, with:
✅ More than 15 GW installed and over 24 GW in firm orders.
✅ More than 2,500 turbines operating globally.
✅ Installations across 26 countries.

Recent milestones include:
🇨🇱 The first EnVentus turbine installed in Chile.
🇬🇧 The most powerful wind turbine operating in the UK, the EnVentus™ V162-6.2 MW.
🇦🇺 Completion of turbine installation at Golden Plains, Australia's largest wind project.

And while the platform continues to scale globally, development continues:
📈 Through development, further testing and maturation it has been possible to further enhance the performance, increasing the nominal power from the original 5.6MW to now being able to offer a V162-6.5MW on project specific basis.

We’ve completed turbine installations at EnBW’s He Dreiht.

All 64 V236-15.0 MW offshore turbines are now installed at the project in the North Sea. Here’s a snapshot of how He Dreiht will strengthen Europe’s energy system:

✅ All 64 turbines amount to a capacity of 960 MW of secure, sustainable European energy.
✅ A single rotation of the rotor on our V236 turbine generates enough electricity to power four German households for a day.
✅ The project represents a €2.4 billion investment in Europe’s energy independence and has been built entirely without state funding.

He Dreiht is the first project to feature the installation of our flagship V236-15.0 MW turbine, marking an important step in bringing a new generation of offshore wind capacity into operation. Vestas’ financial report for the second quarter of 2026 is now out.

We’re pleased to have delivered a solid second quarter of 2026 amidst continued geopolitical uncertainty. The positive performance shows our strategy is working, and we remain on track to achieve our 2026 outlook.

We continue to improve ex*****on in our Onshore and Offshore businesses, highlighted by revenue being up 26% year-on-year and an EBIT margin of 9.4%. We recorded one of highest second-quarter profitability, underlining our positive operational trajectory. Well done, Team Vestas.
We had an order intake of 3.3 GW, which is a 67 percent increase year-on-year and Service performed according to plan.

Based on our performance in the second quarter and visibility towards the end of the year, we raise the 2026 outlook on profitability and return further cash to shareholders through a new share buyback of EUR 400m that will run until the end of the calendar year. We are also pleased to return value to our shareholders for the fourth quarter in a row in the form of a new share buyback of EUR 400m that will run until the end of the calendar year.

In an uncertain global environment, demand for wind energy solutions remains strong due to the growing need for secure, affordable, and sustainable energy. Thank you to all our customers, partners and colleagues for their continued engagement and support.

Săptămâna trecută, am participat la Atlantykron 2026, unul dintre cele mai inspiraționale evenimente educaționale și științifice din România, unde știința, tehnologia, creativitatea și învățarea se întâlnesc.

În cadrul evenimentului, Vestas a organizat atelierul „Cum îmblânzim vântul: de la o adiere la megawați”, unde participanții au descoperit cm energia vântului este transformată în electricitate. Împreună, am explorat principiile care stau la baza tehnologiei turbinelor eoliene și am urmărit parcursul energiei, de la o simplă rafală de vânt până la integrarea acesteia în rețeaua electrică.

Mulțumiri speciale echipei pentru că reușește să aducă laolaltă oameni de știință, ingineri, inovatori și exploratori într-un mediu unic, care încurajează învățarea, curiozitatea și descoperirea. De asemenea, am fost onorați de prezența Dianei Buzoianu, Ministrul Mediului, Apelor și Pădurilor din România, a cărei participare reflectă importanța colaborării în construirea unui viitor sustenabil pentru România.
