When demand increases, adding more people, machines, or floor space may increase capacity. But scalability is about something more fundamental: whether the production setup itself can accommodate growth.

As volumes change, so does the pressure on workflows, material movement, handling, and the organisation of production.

Processes that make sense at one volume may become bottlenecks at another.
That's why scalable manufacturing requires continuous attention to how production is structured – and where complexity can be removed rather than simply accommodated.

In power electronics, performance is often discussed in terms of electrical specifications.

But in many projects, the real challenge begins when the component has to fit into the physical reality of the application.

As systems become smaller, lighter, and more power-dense, factors such as thermal management, packaging constraints, manufacturability, and mechanical integration become increasingly important.

In other words: the best electrical solution is not always the best overall solution.

Developing high-performance magnetic components requires close collaboration between electrical and mechanical engineering from the very beginning of the design process. Because in modern power electronics, performance, reliability, and manufacturability are rarely independent parameters.
