Since the cyanidation process was introduced in 1887, oxygen has played a central role in gold extraction. In modern mining operations, on-site oxygen supply keeps the process efficient. It not only improves gold yield but also helps protect the environment 🌍 by giving more control over cyanide use and by reducing the need for transport and storage.

This is one of our PSA oxygen plants, installed at a gold mine. It supplies high-purity oxygen directly on-site to keep the leaching process stable and efficient.

What happens when you take the OXYMAT team out of the office and into an Italian 🇮🇹 kitchen? You get a truly bravissimo time!

Our latest company get-together was all about swapping tools for rolling pins and mastering the art of bruschetta and ravioli. No pressure, no competition, just pure fun, lots of laughter, and some questionable pasta shapes.

Although fully geared with the best kitchen equipment in the city, let’s just say we won’t be opening an OXYMAT trattoria anytime soon, but the spirit is still going strong!

Dual-fuel engines offer shipowners the flexibility to switch between fuel types.

This transition helps reduce emissions while keeping vessels adaptable to different fuel options and regulatory requirements, such as those of IMO.
At the same time, switching between fuels requires nitrogen to purge fuel lines, perform pressure testing, prevent oxygen and moisture buildup, and stabilize system pressure, allowing for a smooth and controlled transition.

OXYMAT membrane nitrogen generators provide a continuous, on-demand nitrogen supply at a pressure up to 13 bar output, making fuel switching safe and efficient while meeting regulatory requirements. A booster solution can be added for use for leak test for engines like ME-GI.

In order to transport live fish safely between farms and processing facilities, wellboats rely on oxygenation, filtration, and water circulation systems to maintain water quality, support fish health, and reduce stress. Some also handle grading, sorting, and sea lice treatment, making them essential in modern aquaculture.

Wastewater treatment happens in stages. While Stage 1 or primary treatment removes solids and large particles, Stage 2 or Aeration is where microorganisms break down organic waste. This stage directly impacts water quality, treatment efficiency, and operational costs. The better the oxygenation, the faster the treatment, and the lower the BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand), and the more effective the process.

But oxygen isn’t just for aeration. It also fuels ozonation, a later process used for disinfection removing contaminants, odors, and pathogens. One gas, multiple uses, both in biological treatment and water purification. A steady oxygen supply keeps wastewater treatment efficient.
