The day has finally come ๐ซ. We moved in the laboratory for the first time at DTU Skylab to perform our in-vitro study. This is one big step towards the development of gene therapy for lactose intolerance. ๐ฌ
On this mission we are having on board two wonderful DTU students with lots of experience and dedication to acquire proof of concept data. ๐
Lucรญa Mompรณ Gisbert and Elisa Terenzi in collaboration with our science team members (Penille Jensen, Ioanna Chini, Angeliki Panetsou, Mario Alzamora, Patrik Szoboszlai) making enormous efforts in starting up our HEK-293 cell culture. We are all super excited to progress in the lab and make the cell culture produce Lactase enzyme as the main objective. ๐
We are going to update you regularly on the progress of our in-vitro study, so stay tuned. Thank you for the support for DTU Skylab, Jacob Martin Nielsen, Meat Tomorrow, and Thermo Fisher Scientific. ๐
