Stigende krav til bæredygtig omstilling fra kunder, medarbejdere, lovgivere og samarbejdspartnere presser virksomheder med konventionelle forretningsmodeller. Men det kan være svært for etablerede virksomheder at tænke radikalt nyt, og et samarbejde med startups kan være løsningen. Startups kan tilføre innovationskraft til etablerede virksomheder, som til gengæld kan hjælpe de nystartede med at komme hurtigere på markedet med deres bæredygtige løsninger.

Få viden om, hvordan etablerede virksomheder og startups i samarbejde kan skabe "corporate-startups" og i fællesskab blive klar til fremtidens bæredygtige vækst.

KOMMUNIKATION & BRANDING
Kommunikation er ikke til at komme uden om, hvis en startup skal have succes. Men hvordan går man i gang, og hvad er vigtigt? Mød kommunikationsrådgiver Anne-Mette Bro Jöhncke fra CommAgain Kommunikation, der blandt andet hjælper startups med at få struktur på kommunikationsindsatsen. Hun vil give fem gode råd til arbejdet med kommunikation og idéer til en overskuelig strategi for området og give et bud på, hvordan kommunikation kan bidrage til virksomhedens vækst.

Hør også en vaskeægte startup-story fra Lasse Søkilde fra BOLD Drinks, som har til huse på Symbion. Lasse er kun 24 år og har på 36 måneder gået fra 39 forhandlere til over 4000. Men vejen dertil har ikke altid været ligetil. BOLD var den første case i Løvens Hules historie, som gik fra et nej til et ja - men da kameraerne slukkede, var hele investering ved at falde sammen, og det krævede en meget dristig beslutning for at få det til at lykkedes.

COMMUNICATION & BRANDING
Communication cannot be avoided if a startup is to be successful. But how do you get started and what is important? Meet communications advisor Anne-Mette Bro Jöhncke from CommAgain, who, among other things, helps startups to structure their communication efforts. At this event Anne-Mette will give you five tips for working with communication and ideas for a clear strategy for the area and give an idea of how communication can contribute to the company's growth.

The second presentation at this event is a genuine startup story from Lasse Søkilde from BOLD, who is located at Symbion. Lasse is only 24 years old and in 36 months he has gone from 39 retailers to over 4000. But the path there has not always been straightforward. BOLD was the first case in the history of Løvens Hule (Dragon's Den) that went from a no to a yes - but when the cameras went off, the entire investment almost collapsed, and it required a very bold decision to make it work.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE GAME INDUSTRY & HEALTH SECTOR
In the series of Symbion Community Talks, we have this time invited two of the community's CEOs, who will share their startup stories and talk about how they use artificial intelligence (AI) in their work within the gaming industry and the healthcare sector, respectively.

Jakob Rasmussen is the CEO of Apex Game Tools, which is located on Univate by Symbion.
Computer games are increasingly taking over our free time and social spaces. Artificial intelligence (AI) and especially machine learning play a big role in how video games are able to capture our attention and grow the video game industry. This talk gives an insight into how artificial intelligence is transforming the video game industry and pushing the latest in other industries from the automotive industry to the healthcare sector.

Serkawt Khola, PhD, is CEO of EvoPlexus Medics, which is located on Symbion Fruebjergvej.
EvoPlexus Medics is a start-up that emerged from academic research and has built and developed its products and services around new and cutting-edge AI/ML-based technologies. EvoPlexus Medics aims for a more sustainable transformation of the healthcare sector and for this talk, Serkawt gives an insight into the startup journey along with highlights from selected projects where AI/ML was applied and ends with the endless universe.

After the presentation, we serve a glass of wine, beer and soda and there is an opportunity to network.

SYMBION COMMUNITY TALKS #1

Tuesday August 30 at 4.00-6.00 p.m. you have the opportunity to participate in the first 'Community Talks' event. The idea behind Community Talks is to create a forum where all interesting, creative and curious people can meet, network, share knowledge, learn and be inspired.

Each Community Talk has its own topic and one or two companies/organizations primarily within the Symbion Community come and share their startup story; The knowledge/science on which the idea was based, the challenges and the successes. For some Community Talks, an external expert is also invited to share his/her knowledge.

The first Community Talk is about the rules of law and freedoms. Jacob Mchangama, the founder of the think tank Justitia, which is located on Symbion Fruebjergvej, gives a presentation about his work and his experiences with how to establish, finance, run and internationalize a successful non-profit organization. He will also provide insight into Justitia's Future of Free Speech project that seeks to build a resilient global culture of free speech in the digital age where this freedom is under fire.

After the presentation, wine, beer and soft drinks are served and there is an opportunity to network.
