One in three people in Denmark get cancer before the age of 75!

Cancer touches all of us in one way or another. Whether it's a family member, a friend, a colleague or someone close to us, behind every diagnosis is a person whose life has been changed.

In Denmark, approximately 420,000 people are living with or after cancer. Thanks to continued research and advances in treatment, more people are surviving, but there is still a long way to go.

At Global Gravity, we are proud to support Knæk Cancer (Beat Cancer) and the important work being done to improve cancer research, prevention and patient support.

This year, we have created our own version of the Knæk Cancer flower using our TubeLock® components, a small gesture to show our support for a cause that means so much to so many.

One project we are especially proud of involved a complex completion assembly with different diameters, lengths, and configurations.

The question was simple. Could it be safely packed and transported in TubeLock® frames while keeping the running sequence?

It was not a standard setup, and it took careful planning, hands on testing, and a flexible approach from our team. By using different parts of our inventory and working through the details step by step, we found the right solution.

The final result was both primary and backup completion assemblies loaded into TubeLock® frames, with around 95% of the components arranged in running sequence.

This is what TubeLock® is about. Not every project fits a standard setup, and sometimes the best solution comes from getting hands-on, testing different options and adapting the system to the job. It is a good example of how TubeLock® can be adapted to real project challenges while keeping safety, control and efficiency at the centre.

We’re putting the ‘’Global’’ in Global Gravity this week. From Singapore to Rio, our team has been busy at international conferences and exhibitions, connecting with contacts, energy leaders, and drilling professionals across the energy industry.

Our Asia Pacific team, David Craig and Desmond Wong, have spent some productive days at World Offshore Week in Singapore, where they talked about transportation and tubular handling with industry connections.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the globe in Brazil, our Latin America Business Development Manager, Felipe Valentim, brought his regional insight into drilling operations to ROG.e in Rio.

Meet our Business Development Manager in the Middle East, Calum Brown, on-site at the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) Drilling Middle East Conference & Exhibition in Abu Dhabi the 29th and 30th of September.
