Student Initiative - Served 💁‍♀️ | Get-together event | 11th of March - Saturday at 17:00 - 20:00 | Common house of Møllebæk Kollegiet

Our two Chemical Engineering students, Ema and Karolina, have been part of the Project Green Challenge since October 2022.

You might have already heard about their idea called 'Served' focusing on reducing the food waste through food sharing (you can read more about it http://projectserved.com/).

This time girls wanted to invite us for a small event in the common house of Møllebæk Kollegiet, during which they will present the prototype of the Served app. You are not expected to come with anything except of the good mood, mind ready with some brainstorming, and optionally, a small snack to share with others!

Unfortunately the the researcher Wednesday has been postponed to a date that will be will released in the coming weeks.

Hello people :)
Do you know what your friendly neighborhood researchers are up to? Would you like to find out?
The student society and AAUE chemistry mentors are holding Researcher Wednesday on the 20th of April at 16.00 - 17.00, where we have 4 researchers from chemistry and energy section, that will talk about what they are currently working on.
So, if you’d like to know more about doing research here on campus, or you want to get a sense of what other sections are working on, then swing on by!
We will provide some cake, coffee and soda for those that show up.

We are happy to announce the Christmas Ball✨

The Christmas Ball is a formal dance with the theme of Christmas. We will have professional photography, catering, music, and decorations. So come along for a great night to relax between project work, get dressed up, drink, eat, and dance.

The event is free thanks to the Studentersamfundet up in Aalborg.

Hello people, knowing that we have voting on right now, there is one candidate that is running for the university board. Marie was kind enough to reach out to us in Esbjerg to let us know she is here to represent the whole of AAU including Esbjerg. So lets get behind her and show our support by voting.

Mit navn er Marie, jeg er på 7. Semester medicin og stille op til universitets bestyrelsen for Studentersamfundet. Det gør jeg fordi vores stemme som studerende er vigtig at få ud, og jeg tror på at vi sammen kan råbe højere.

Når jeg ikke kæmper for os studerende så hækler jeg gerne næsten alt tænkteligt - lige ud over bamser.

Det jeg brænder for er at vi og AAU skal have større fokus på studerendes mentale trivsel, vores studenter foreninger og at øge gennemsigtigheden på AAU!

Fun fact: har en stor forkærlighed for Dr. Martens støvler og har dem snart i alle regnbuens farver.

Hello guys! We're coming back with more details about Sports Day (10.09).

This year we have four sports:

· Flunkyball (more interactive and team-orientated beer bowling activity)

· Floorball

· Volleyball

· Oversized beer pong (using a football and buckets filled with water)

The event will begin at 11:00 and end around 18:00 (depending on the number of teams).

We will need the teams and their names so please fill in the form below to sign up your team (only one person will need to sign up their team), there is no maximum amount of people you can have in a team but there will be a maximum of 5 people playing the sports depending on the sport.

We will be providing a station where you can buy alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks, ranging from beer to spirits. You are also able to bring your own alcohol.

After the event, we have confirmed that all AAU Esbjerg students have free entry and one free drink at either Rustik or pioneer bar courtesy of IDA. You will have to organize your own transport and show your student card when entering.

Signups are open from now until Thursday 9th of September at 16:00.
