This Wednesday, Tuco Marine Group ApS will be attending the Subsea Security – From National Vulnerabilities to International Solutions conference in Copenhagen.

As Europe’s security landscape continues to evolve, protecting critical subsea infrastructure—such as energy pipelines and data cables—is becoming increasingly important. The conference, hosted by Dansk Erhverv and Danske Maritime (Danish Maritime), brings together key stakeholders across industry, defence, and government to address these challenges.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from Syddansk Universitet – University of Southern Denmark (SDU) to Tuco Marine Group, where they conducted advanced drone hull mapping of the hull on an 11m ProZero Mission Master currently under construction for Kristiansand Municipality.

🚁 Drone Hull Mapping in Action
Using a specialized drone setup, the SDU team performed detailed hull mapping to capture high-precision data and generate a comprehensive 3D model of the vessel’s hull.

This digital approach enables:
🔹 Accurate documentation and quality assurance
🔹 Data-driven optimization for future development

🤝 Innovation Through Collaboration
The visit demonstrated how combining maritime craftsmanship with advanced digital technologies like drone hull mapping can enhance both precision and efficiency.

Tuco Marine Group ApS will attend UMEX (Unmanned Systems Exhibition & Conference) at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, with Founder Jonas Pedersen representing the group on-site Tuesday and Thursday.

UMEX is a key platform for unmanned and autonomous defence capabilities, bringing together operators, decision-makers and industry partners to explore current and future requirements across the unmanned domain.

For Tuco Marine Group ApS / ProZero, UMEX is directly aligned with our core focus: delivering high-performance Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs) and mission-configurable maritime solutions that support modern defence and security operations, including:

- maritime surveillance and persistent presence

Today, We had the pleasure of welcoming Thomas Skriver Jensen (Member of Parliament, Socialdemokratiet) and Amanda Heitmann (parliamentary candidate, Venstre, Danmarks Liberale Parti) for a visit and discussion at the company’s facilities in Faaborg.

CEO Jonas Pedersen hosted the visit and introduced TUCO’s work in developing and manufacturing Danish-built maritime technology designed to support:

- maritime situational awareness
- persistent presence and visibility in priority areas
- monitoring and protection of critical infrastructure
- scalable, deployable solutions with a sustainable operating model

The visit also included a tour of TUCO’s production facilities, showcasing composite manufacturing, final assembly, and vessels currently being built for international partners.

ProZero will be represented at the EURONAVAL Conference in Brussels next week, with CEO Jonas Pedersen attending the conference on behalf of the group.

This year’s conference places strong emphasis on how Artificial Intelligence, trusted data and advanced digital technologies are reshaping maritime operations — with particular focus on maritime surveillance, situational awareness and protection of critical infrastructure.

These focus areas align closely with ProZero – Defense & Law Enforcement Boats’s core competencies. With extensive experience in unmanned and optionally crewed surface vessels, ProZero – Workboats delivers high-performance maritime platforms designed to support persistent surveillance, rapid response and scalable solutions for defence and security missions.

🌿 REFEST Project – Advancing the Future of Sustainable Fisheries
Episode 2 of 4

In this second episode, we focus on the development work turning REFEST’s ambitions into practical, scalable solutions.

At Tuco Marine Group, we are working with project partners to refine key design elements - from composites and hull performance to hybrid energy integration. This phase is all about engineering validation, ensuring that concepts are tested, optimized and ready for real fishing conditions.

The partners are contributing crucial expertise:

🌊 Hydrodynamic modeling for efficient hull design
🔋 Hybrid energy and battery management
📡 Digital tools for monitoring operations and efficiency
