The Company has its origin in the development of optimal, sustainable and resource saving constructions. The founder, Jørgen Breuning, has always focused in special constructions, in particular shell constructions. Since the 1950ies where hollow core, one-way span, was introduced, no major development had occurred. New, better and more flexible solutions were needed. This long time need for evolut

ion in concrete constructions, let the Danish Ministry of Housing to initiate a competition, especially targeting multi-storey buildings:

“To develop constructions as flexible and generally applicable that they will be able to pick up changes in a time period reaching far into the next century”

But the competition did not lead to any new development. This intrigued Jørgen Breuning, and he came up with the first practicable true biaxial, hollow slab: the BubbleDeck technology, fulfilling the demands for flexibility, sustainability and material reduction. The first projects were made in Germany in 1997, and the commercial success began in 1999 with projects (e.g. Millennium Tower) winning several awards. Group Structure

Today, the topping-out ceremony for the Garden Towers apartment development were held on site. From the first piles were drilled, culminating in the completion of the structural works, in 630 days, 62 levels were constructed.

57,500m² of BubbleDeck floor panels were delivered.

Prefabrication managed to ensure materials arriving on site on time and without delay, fundamental to maintain program efficiency and construction momentum. Well done!

Finbar's Riverbank Residences is a $115 million, 143-apartment development located in the Rivervale Springs precinct, which prominently features BubbleDeck technology. This project, situated at 30 Riversdale Road, is part of a sustainable building approach.
Key Aspects of the Project and Technology:

BubbleDeck Technology: This construction method uses hollow plastic spheres within a steel lattice, replacing up to 35% of concrete in floor slabs.

Green Credentials: The use of the BubbleDeck system makes the development more sustainable, reduces the structural load, and allows for faster construction times.

Sales Success: As of March 2026, 142 apartments sold, making it a key driver in a record-breaking sales month for Finbar.

The project is known for offering luxury, high-rise living with views of the Swan River, combining aesthetic design with modern construction efficiency.

Five Trends That Will Transform Construction in Brazil in 2026

* Industrialization and Modular Construction Drive Productivity
* Sustainability and circular economy gain definitive space
* Digitization and Construction 4.0 revolutionize the construction site
* Diversity, inclusion and ESG reinforce the human capital of the sector
* Innovation and new business models strengthen the ecosystem

BubbleDeck and the trends for 2026: a sustainable and productive connection

The projections for 2026 indicate that industrialization and sustainability are the pillars that drive Brazilian civil construction towards the future. It is in this scenario that the BubbleDeck construction system stands out by incorporating recyclable plastic spheres into reinforced concrete slabs, reducing the use of concrete and steel in the neutral line region.

This innovation provides a significant reduction in the proper weight of the structure, consequently reducing the consumption of wood for shoring and the need for specialized labor, exactly aligned to the demand for modular and digitized construction. In addition, the use of recycled plastic directly contributes to the circular economy, reinforcing the environmental sustainability in the works.

Thus, the BubbleDeck technology not only monitors but also enhances the main trends for 2026, delivering faster, more economical and responsible constructions, integrating productivity, technological innovation and environmental awareness to the Brazilian construction market.

COP30: Green Digital Action Hub to accelerate innovation for a sustainable future

Belém, 10 November 2025

A coalition of international partners announced the creation of the Green Digital Action Hub (GDA Hub), a new cooperation platform to harness technology innovation against climate change, anchored in Brazil as a legacy of the 30th UN Climate Change Conference, COP30.

The GDA Hub will provide tools, expertise, and data to help nations scale up green technologies, reduce environmental footprint of technology and ensure access to sustainable digital solutions for all.

Digital tools are now indispensable to track climate change, boost energy efficiency, enhance re-use of critical minerals and optimize low-carbon solutions across numerous industries.

Key focus areas will include:
Tracking emissions and e-waste: Launching an open-access portal to monitor greenhouse gas emissions, reductions, and e-waste data from tech companies and countries.

Other Green Digital Action highlights at COP30 include progress updates on a global database to track tech-related emissions.

The BubbleDeck system is already integrated in the Brazilian digital Hub.
