A Saturday morning well spent, with running, teamwork, and good energy from our GWS colleagues from Polish Business unit. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

This weekend, our team took part in the Swanson Business Race - Bieg Sztafet Firmowych, a relay race bringing companies together through running.

It was a great opportunity to connect with colleagues outside the usual working day and enjoy some friendly competition alongside other companies.

What does a strong internship look like?

For Lena Julius, a Marketing Management student at IBA Kolding, it meant contributing to real communication projects at Global Wind Service from day one.

Based at our head office in Fredericia, she worked across teams and gained practical insight into how marketing operates in a global organisation.

Her experience was recognised with a top 25 nomination in the IBA Internship of the Year competition.

As Lena puts it:

Offshore wind milestone in the United States: Vineyard Wind 1 successfully completed 🌊

Global Wind Service (GWS) is proud to have supported the successful completion of Vineyard Wind 1, a landmark offshore wind project in the USA and a key step in accelerating the energy transition.

Located approximately 15 miles south of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, the project features 62 GE Haliade-X wind turbines (13 MW each), delivering a total installed capacity of 806 MW of renewable energy.

From September 2023 to March 2026, GWS supported offshore wind turbine installation activities, contributing to safe, efficient, and high-quality project ex*****on.
