Two offices, two ceremonies, and one shared wish for peace and safety. 🇹🇼
Our colleagues in Taiwan recently came together to mark the Ghost Festival, one of the country’s most important traditional observances.
Celebrated on the 15th day of the seventh lunar month, the festival takes place during Ghost Month. According to tradition, spirits return to the world of the living during this period. Food and snacks are prepared as offerings, while blessing ceremonies are held to pray for peace, safety, and protection.
At our Taipei office, colleagues joined a ceremony organised for the entire building. In Taichung, our local team arranged its own celebration.
With teams across the world, learning about and respecting local traditions is an important part of life at GWS. Thank you to our colleagues in Taiwan for sharing this meaningful tradition with us.
