We are excited... and quite proud... to share our news that we are now a B-Corp!
As a hard-earned certification, it demonstrates how seriously we take our commitment to how we run and measure success at Alitex. Since first joining in 1991, Tom has focused on team, culture and community, and these have now become a way of life. Our move to Torberry Farm in 2001 has given us a home to care for, and our environmental responsibilities have been steadily growing since then, with the instigation in the last five years of our Sustainability Team helping us to really challenge our carbon footprint, and our internal education to achieve this goal.
It’s a lot of work and it’s a big deal - it’s not just a badge. It is an ongoing commitment that we are very happy to be part of, and we look forward to sharing some of our learning and our future progress with you as we continue to strive to get better and head towards net zero - one day!
