🎉 Today we celebrate Karl-Erik Henriksen on his 25th anniversary at Eltronic – congratulations, Karl Erik!
Karl Erik has been with us since the very beginning – back when Eltronic was just a small group of passionate people with big ideas. In those days, things were hands-on – our founder Lars Jensen and a colleague once even picked up second-hand furniture from the Salvation Army to furnish the office. That kind of dedication and team spirit has always been part of the culture.
💭 Karl Erik fondly remembers Lars saying, “We’ll never be more than 25 employees.” Today, we’re 300 – and although the company has grown, he still finds that same close-knit atmosphere in his team. A place where people don’t give up when things get tough, and challenges are met with dedication and collaboration.
🤖 Starting as a PLC programmer, Karl Erik soon expanded his skills to include robotics – opening the door to exciting international projects. Today, as a Senior Robotics Engineer, he continues to thrive on learning, adapting, and tackling new technologies head-on.
What’s kept him here for 25 years? According to Karl Erik, it’s the mix of having a safe and supportive base with sharp, dedicated colleagues – and being constantly challenged by new tasks and evolving technology. “What I do today is completely different from five years ago,” he says – and that’s exactly what drives him 💡
His advice to the next generation? “Be open, take initiative, and dare to take on new challenges – then you can go as far as you want.”
