New Infrastructure and Noise barriers are rarely popular projects from a landscaper’s point of view. In Silkeborg Kommune they made an extra effort to ensure that the new ring road and noise barrier did as limited damage to the landscape and local nature as possible

We are both keen and honored to be able to deliver these delicate and elegant fences according to the original Arne Jacobsen design. We are using the finest grade of debarked willows, refined from our own willow fields - and the very weaving is handmade by our own longtime, highly skilled craftsmen.

The noisebarrier being erected - good job by everyone. The oldest barrier of this type is actually also erected in - it is 26 years old and still looking very beautiful. The strategy is the design facades that turns old beautifully - like “raftehegn” - without costing any maintenance #

6 meter tall noise barrier - and the birdcages are in this case much more than just an excuse to nature. The building materials derives from extensively grown willow plantations. Up to 80% of the negative impact to the biodiversity from building materials is caused off building site.

Det bliver ikke meget større, end når de lokale “kendere” af kysten kan se effekten af det store arbejde, der er udført med udvikling af træbaserede spuns i pil - og som ikke var blevet realiseret uden stærke, modige og lokale kystlaug - selvfølgelig i godt samarbejde med Hjørring Kommune
