Daria, international student at Absalon’s Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology, spent her 6th semester interning at Lundbeck Pharma A/S – and continued the collaboration in her final bachelor project this semester.

Studyjob Fair 2025 at Campus Kalundborg 🌍💼

Students from all over the world joined the Studyjob Fair at Absalon this Friday – exploring job opportunities, asking questions, and meeting local companies from Kalundborg.

Ivan and Tamara, two of our new international students put it like this:

“Nice and open-minded companies – even if we do not speak Danish yet! It was great to learn about the opportunities and feel welcome.”

🌟 Work in Denmark also joined the day with a helpful session about how to apply for jobs in Denmark – including tips for writing strong CVs and understanding the informal work culture.

👩‍🔬 Five months in the U.S. biotech industry – as part of your degree in Kalundborg.

Raquel is a student in the Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology at University College Absalon. She recently completed her internship at Novo Nordisk in North Carolina, where she joined the Automation team and helped design dashboards and visual tools for production data – gaining hands-on insight into the entire manufacturing process.

“Even though automation isn’t my primary field, I’ve learned so much about production – and I’ve really enjoyed being challenged and developing new tools.”

💡The internship is a required part of the 6th semester – and it’s just one example of how closely education and industry work together in Kalundborg, the Biotech City of Denmark.

“I always had this sense of security – and Absalon really helped with that.”
