Meet Tania Velho, our Customer Resolution Specialist from
"My name is Tania, and I studied at Universidade da Beira Interior in Portugal. Since joining Satair in August 2024, one of the values that truly resonates with me is respect. From the very first day, I was amazed by the diversity within the teams, whether it’s nationalities, cultures, or genders. The openness and respect everyone shows create an inclusive environment where all voices are heard and valued.
I have over 10 years of experience in Customer Experience, with a focus on Continuous Improvement, and have always been a strong advocate for Diversity and Inclusion both inside and outside the workplace. Moving to Hamburg recently, I was fortunate to find a role at Satair that aligns closely with my career path, providing an exciting opportunity to further my knowledge in the aviation industry.
What keeps me motivated is the chance to combine my curiosity for learning with the opportunity to implement new ideas through continuous improvement. Being part of the active Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives at Satair is another source of inspiration for me.
For fellow newcomers, I encourage you to take the time to get to know the people around you and to learn as much as possible. Be curious, ask questions—people will always be willing to help. Also, make sure to explore Satair's onboarding programs, which greatly contribute to feeling integrated and achieving a healthy work-life balance.
One of my most memorable experiences so far was the warm welcome I received. From being introduced to my team to finding a 'starter pack' of Satair goodies on my desk, it made me feel instantly included and part of the team.
I am fluent in four languages and currently learning German. Having worked in diverse industries and lived in different countries, I thrive in multicultural environments. I’m passionate about supporting Diversity and Inclusion, and I’m thrilled to be part of the diverse team at Satair!"
