En ny Løve er trådt ind i hulen!

DRTV har netop offentliggjort årets mentorer i Løvens Hule Junior – og vi er stolte af at kunne dele, at THORNICOs Founder & CEO Christian Nicholas Stadil er en af årets Løver.

I Løvens Hule Junior får unge iværksættere mulighed for at præsentere deres idéer, ambitioner og virksomheder for et panel af erfarne erhvervsprofiler - med muligheden for at få værdifuld sparring og et mentorforløb med på vejen.

Vi glæder os til at følge den næste generation af iværksættere og se, hvilke unge talenter Christian vælger at indgå et mentorforløb med undervejs🚀

A new Dragon has entered the Den!

DRTV has just launched this year’s mentors for Dragons’ Den Junior – and we’re proud to share that THORNICO Founder & CEO Christian Stadil is joining the panel as one of the Dragons.

In Dragons’ Den Junior, young entrepreneurs get the opportunity to present their ideas, ambitions and businesses to a panel of experienced business profiles – with the chance to gain valuable guidance and mentorship along the way.

We are excited to follow the next generation of entrepreneurs and see which young talents Christian will team up with and mentor throughout the journey🚀

The first of six episodes airs on DRTV (Danish TV) this Saturday, 22 August.

Last Saturday, CEO & Owner of THORNICO, Christian Nicholas Stadil had the honour of naming the Rose of the Year at Nordfyns Rosenfestival 🌹

He chose the name “Alice” in tribute to his wife, Alice Rosenkrantz Stadil - After 16 years together, she remains a constant source of love, presence and grounding, as well as the mother of their four children.

The rose’s burnt-orange colour also carries a special symbolism. Reminiscent of the saffron-coloured robes of the Buddhist tradition, it reflects Christian’s connection to Bhutan, where he serves as Denmark’s Honorary Consul.

The rose was officially named with a glass of LE NON MOI Rosé Champagne - Champagne LE NON MOI. Adding an extra touch to the traditional ceremony.

Bred by Danish rose breeder Rosa Eskelund, “Alice” will be planted this autumn by the watermill at Harridslevgaard Slot, where its warm colour will complement the orange tones of the historic building.

A meaningful tribute and a lasting addition to Harridslevgaard Castle. Congratulations on the Rose of the Year 🧡🌹

A month ago, hummel broke ground at the hummel
Distribution Center (hDC) in Padborg 🐝

It marked the start of a DKK 80 million investment in expanded distribution and administrative facilities.

When the expansion is completed, it will improve capacity, optimise logistics, and provide better facilities for the hDC team.

Congratulations to everyone at hummel on this exciting expansion! 👏

THORNICO Festival 2026 – going Viking!

On 12 June, we welcomed colleagues to the THORNICO Festival 2026 in the beautiful gardens of Harridslevgaard Slot on Funen, Denmark.

We kicked off the evening with our own LE NON MOI Champagne before our CEO and Owner Christian Nicholas Stadil welcomed everyone and celebrated the Global Winners of the THORNICO Awards 2026 across the categories: Company Karma, Synergy and Idea.

The evening was filled with activities, including garden games, guided tours of the castle, free tattoos by Iron & Ink, viking baptism, rune reading and Myselfie photo booth - all while enjoying delicious food and ice cream from ISTID 🍔🍦

A festival also calls for great music – and this year’s line-up featured the strongest names to date, including Jada, Thomas Helmig, The Antonelli Orchestra and Ashes of Billy. DJ Anthon closed the night by keeping the dance floor buzzing until the very end 🪩

A huge thank you to all our colleagues for bringing such fantastic energy and making THORNICO Festival 2026 a memorable evening🧡

When we present our LE NON MOI – THORNICO Prize of DKK 250,000, it is accompanied by a unique piece of artwork.

This year, we have chosen the British artist Mark William Kilford to create the artwork – beautifully made in ceramic. The artwork accompanying the 2026 LE NON MOI Prize is a tribute to the person, the man, and the talent, Nick Cave. Its symbols refer to his poems, texts, and elevated perspectives on life and death.

LE NON MOI – THORNICO Prize Recipient 2026 | Nick Cave 💙

We are incredibly proud and honoured that musician, singer-songwriter, author, screenwriter, composer and film actor - Nick Cave - joined us at the LE NON MOI Matinée at Kunstmuseum Brandts to receive this year’s prize.

Through decades of music, literature, and artistic exploration, Nick Cave has created works that bring together beauty, grief, love, and darkness. With rare honesty, courage and spiritual intensity, he demonstrates how art can help us better understand ourselves and what it means to be human.

This is what the LE NON MOI Prize celebrates: people who, through their art, teachings or research, help others reach this state if only now and again.
