Last week, Lars Brandt-Erichsen and Asger Rahtkens traveled to Luxembourg to commission a Westrup Norogard Seed Treater R1250.⁠

With a capacity of up to 30.6 t/h, with the possibility of multiple fluid systems and powder solutions. The R1250 is a high-performance batch seed treater designed for efficient and precise seed treatment.⁠

At LSG - Luxemburger Saatbaugenossenschaft, Lars and Asger supervised the commissioning process, providing operator training, practical instructions, and hands-on support to ensure the machine was set up and running smoothly.⁠

In the woodshop in the basement of Westrup’s factory in Denmark, our team of diligent, skilled jointers carefully crafts sieveboard frames, gravity table decks, and other essential components to the highest standards before they are installed in the machines. Their craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail help ensure the reliability and performance customers around the world expect from Westrup.
We have worked with wood since the first machine was built in 1958, as the material is both flexible and robust, making it an optimal choice to withstand the movements and impacts of seed on the machines.

Coffee processing innovation in Honduras

A new fully integrated coffee processing line is taking shape, combining technologies from Oliver Manufacturing and Westrup to improve efficiency and product quality from cleaning through final separation.

By integrating a Westrup Fine Cleaner and two graders with Oliver’s gravity table, the facility achieves higher precision, reduced waste, and a more streamlined, compact operation.

The result is a more efficient process with less unplanned downtime, improved consistency, and stronger export-ready quality.
