🎧 A Day at Sound Hub: JHM Audio
Meet John Hammer from JHM Audio, part of our in house community and one of the specialists working with audio technology.

John works at present with wearables such as headphones, earphones and smart glasses. A typical day can involve testing, investigating technical challenges and exploring new ways to improve audio performance.

He uses our sound facilities for hands on testing and development. Being part of our in house community also means having specialists around you to discuss challenges, exchange ideas and get a fresh perspective when needed.

Most of us experience sound by listening.

But what if you could see it?

Around Sound Hub Denmark, sound is not only something we work with. It is also part of the environment around us.

One example is this wall artwork, where an actual sound recording has been transformed into a visual expression.
The waveform is not just a design. It represents a real sound sequence captured and preserved on the wall.

And if you look closely, it tells a little story of its own.

For WizeMice, the answer was more than a better product.

It was a clearer way of thinking about the company behind it:

✈️ A visit from the Danish Defence’s Aircraft Technical Training Squadron
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming the Danish Defence’s Aircraft Technical Training Squadron.

The visit was a chance to give them a closer look at our facilities and technical environment, while sharing some of the knowledge and experience available across our ecosystem.

It also opened up good conversations around technology, testing and specialist expertise, as well as how we might collaborate and learn from each other in the future.

A big thank you to Martin Hulgaard, Captain and Deputy Commander of the Danish Defence’s Aircraft Technical Training Squadron, for the visit and the good conversations.

🖥️ EVENT RECAP: Hands-on TouchGFX training
On September 10, we welcomed hardware developers, embedded software engineers and technical product developers for a hands-on TouchGFX workshop.

Together with STMicroelectronics and Arrow, participants worked directly with TouchGFX, STM32 developer boards and touch displays – getting practical experience with GUI development.

In the video, Jørgen Mygind from STMicroelectronics gives a glimpse into the training and the hardware used throughout the day.
And the learning did not stop when the workshop ended: participants took the development kit home to continue building and experimenting afterwards.

⚡ A familiar face in a new role
We’re pleased to welcome Christian back – this time as Head of Department at EKTOS.

EKTOS TRS is based here in Struer and works with EMC, safety, climate and vibration testing for companies developing and validating products.

Christian is an educated electronics technician and electronics engineer, and he already knows the environment well from previously taking part in an innovation camp here.

Now he is back in a new role – and with a clear view on why EKTOS TRS has chosen to be based here: the partnership, the facilities and the access to future customers through the ecosystem around us.

“It’s amazing to be back in such an inspirational environment.”
