Last week, GSOL Energy participated in the opening of the Me and My Gen exhibition at SIMAC in Svendborg, created by Kasper Tveden and photographer Peter Kristensen.

Through powerful portraits and stories from Nigeria, the exhibition highlights how millions of people depend on fossil-fuel generators for daily life and how unreliable electricity affects healthcare, businesses, education and development.

Our Chief Sales Officer, Jesper Gyldenkærne, joined the panel discussion, where one message stood out clearly: solving global energy challenges requires strong collaboration between local knowledge, international partnerships and reliable technologies.

At GSOL Energy, we see these challenges firsthand through the solar and hybrid energy projects we deliver in communities where stable electricity cannot be taken for granted.

The exhibition remains open at SIMAC throughout the summer before moved to Klimafolkemødet.

We are proud to see GSOL Energy featured in the new report from Ethical Trade Denmark about value chain partnerships and sustainable business collaboration.

The report highlights our Hakwata solar mini-grid project in Zimbabwe together with our local partner
POWERite and the Rural Electrification Fund Ref. The project now delivers reliable electricity to households, schools, clinics and small businesses in a rural area previously without access to power.

Our CEO Torben Dupont Rønlev participated in the interview together with Courage Sakarombe from POWERite, sharing experiences from delivering renewable energy solutions in complex and remote environments.

A big thank you to Etisk Handel Danmark for including our case in the report and for focusing on how partnerships can create both local impact and long-term resilience.

Access to reliable electricity is still a daily challenge for millions of people around the world.

That is why GSOL Energy is proud to support Me and My Gen - a powerful new photo exhibition initiated by Kasper Tvedten, focusing on Nigeria’s dependence on fossil-fuel generators and the global climate impact connected to unreliable energy infrastructure.

The exhibition opens at SIMAC in Svendborg on May 21 and creates an important conversation about energy access, climate and sustainable development.

At GSOL Energy, we work every day with solar and hybrid energy solutions in areas where reliable electricity cannot be taken for granted - and we are proud to contribute as partners to this initiative.

Yesterday, EnergyBar once again arranged a great social event for the colleagues at GSOL Energy.

This time, we explored Svendborg through a guided tour focused on the city’s proud maritime history. A big thank you to the fantastic guide En guidet tur med Elin Boss for sharing stories, local history and beautiful details from around the city.

After the tour, we enjoyed burgers and good company at Bogholderiet - Ølbar & Burgerjoint på Svendborg Havn🍔
