Only the finest wood is allowed into the SPEKVA workshop, where every single stave of wood is handpicked and combined with an experienced eye for color, texture and the characteristics of the different wood types. Each piece of wood has its individual expression, and the wooden staves are processed and combined by experienced hands, giving the finished countertop the most beautiful play and a clear Nordic design identity. In this bespoke solution for Aduro’s canteen and meeting spaces, every element is custom-crafted in solid oak.

There are many unique details, such as how window tables create workspaces with a view, and a discreet cable hatch built into the meeting table.

It could have been just another white kitchen.

But the combination of natural materials and carefully balanced tones adds warmth and personality.

A soft pink hue runs subtly through the space — from the stone wall to the seating and small styling details.

The warm brown tones in the backdrop are echoed in the wood worktop, adding depth to the otherwise light palette.

Layered on top of the white island, the wood worktop creates a natural dining zone without breaking the flow of the kitchen.
