Last weekend, colleagues and their families came together for a Family Day at GPV Electronics in Aars, Denmark.

Despite having around 140 employees at the site, nearly 300 guests joined the event, showing the strong engagement and community spirit that help make GPV a special place to work.

The event was a great success and a wonderful opportunity to open our doors, share what we do and strengthen the connection between our people, their families and the workplace.

Events like these remind us that GPV is more than a workplace. It is a company built by people, teamwork and shared experiences.

Strong relations matter.
Meeting in person matters.

Especially in a working world largely driven by online meetings, speed and tight agendas.

It can be difficult to read between the lines in an online meeting. There is less room for small talk, for sensing how others are doing, or simply getting to know the person behind the screen.

That was also an important part of our ELF Summit 2026, apart from focus on continued growth, strategic priorities and Service Excellence for our customers.

Better understanding builds trust, makes co-operation easier and helps us solve challenges together.

Markets don't stand still. Neither can we.
This week, GPV's Top 40 leaders gathered in Denmark for our ELF Summit 2026 under the theme “Made for Moving Markets”.

Customer demand shifts. Supply chains change. Complexity increases. Markets move. Costs move. And the pace rarely slows down. For our customers, navigating this environment requires manufacturing partners that can adapt quickly while continuing to deliver reliably.

Over two days, leaders from operations and supporting functions discussed what we are seeing in the market, the challenges ahead and the actions needed to secure competitiveness and support future customer growth.

A key part of that is staying close to customers and suppliers. But it also depends on how well we work together internally across sites, functions and countries.

That is why the summit was not only about strategy and business priorities. Time spent connecting, exchanging perspectives and strengthening relationships matters too.

“Being Made for Moving Markets means building a resilient business that can help our customers navigate change with confidence. And our ability to do that starts with our ability to move together as One GPV,” says Bo Lybaek, CEO at GPV.

He adds:

H1 2026: While market normalisation continues, GPV reports steady sales and increased profitability

After the first half year, sales ended at DKK 4,385 million, down 1% compared to the same period last year. EBITDA increased by 16% to DKK 347 million from DKK 298 million in the same period last year. Book-to-bill is at highest level since 2021, both due to new customer wins, growth within AI/Data Centres, semicon, and defence as well as customers extending their forecasts upon recommendations due to materials shortages of some components.

“We enter the second half of the year with a good order book, improved earnings and a more efficient organisation. We have learned a great deal from previous periods of component shortages and now have even stronger processes and closer dialogues with customers and suppliers. Material availability remains the main uncertainty, but based on what we see today, we expect to deliver a good full-year result,” says Bo Lybæk, CEO at GPV Group A/S.

The improvement in profitability reflects several structural initiatives implemented during 2024 and 2025, where GPV consolidated several smaller production sites, adjusted central group functions and transferred more operational responsibility to the factories. These measures have lowered the cost base and contributed to higher efficiency.

Based on the first-half year performance and current outlook, GPV raises its full-year sales expectations to DKK 8.6–9.1 billion and narrows EBITDA outlook to DKK 710–750 million, compared with the previous range on sales of DKK 8.5–9.0 billion and on EBITDA of DKK 690–750 million.

BRINGING EUROPEAN SITES TOGETHER IN HILDESHEIM

On 9–10 June 2026, we gathered colleagues from our European electronics sites in Hildesheim for our Site Engagement Meeting
Over two days, teams from Denmark, Finland, Germany, Sweden and Switzerland met at GPV Electronics DE to exchange insights, discuss priorities, and strengthen collaboration across sites. The meeting was hosted by Sebastian Grundmann, MD at GPV Electronics DE.

“Our proximity sites face similar challenges and opportunities. This gives us a good foundation to discuss what works well, to identify areas for improvement and to support collaboration and learning across the organisation. I always value these meetings because they create alignment not only in strategy, but in how we work together and support each other day to day. In Hildesheim, automation was one of the key themes, and I really appreciate the open discussions on how local best practices can help us move forward together,” says Bo Lybaek, CEO at GPV.
