After years with the same genetics, they saw progress slow down... So, they changed to DanBred 🧬

Burgener Farm is a family‑run operation with 800 sows and full farrow‑to‑finish production in Illinois 🐷 After extensive research, the brothers decided to switch to DanBred pigs and begin a new journey as some of first US producers with DanBred Hybrids.

And they expect that the switch will results in more calm sows that produce robust piglets.

We’re excited to follow their journey and progress closely 👀

An excellent first day of our European Sales event at KLASSE in the Netherlands 🐷

Right now, a lot of great colleagues are gathered to share knowledge and experiences 💡

The first day has been packed with a lot of good presentations! Among others, from Harm Frencken and Paul van der Steijn from World Premix BV , who shared their excellent results and experiences with successful management initiatives 👏 And also from Adriaan Smulders and Jørn Munch Madsen from Vilomix Danmark as well as MSD Animal Health.

We can't wait for even more to come tomorrow!

Great days at Opormex 2026 🐽🐽

It was a pleasure participating in this important event in the Mexican swine industry!

Strong start for Thygrisen after switching to DanBred 🙌🐷

At the pig production, Thygrisen, in Denmark, they wanted more liveborn piglets and a higher lean meat percentage. After switching to DanBred, they quickly saw the improvements 📈

At Thygrisen, they have discovered how to wean many pigs while maintaining high survival rates from farrow to finish 🧬
