Our Company
The Viby Attachment story started back in 1943 in a garage in Viby (now part of Aarhus), in Denmark. Rasmussen set up a business as a blacksmith. A little over 20 years later, the company developed its first bucket for construction machinery. The "V
iby bucket” soon became known for its high quality, efficiency and reliability. Viby continued to pursue a desire to become a major European and global supplier and has since become an established presence in the UK & Eire market. In 2009, Viby formed an alliance with Danish steel components manufacturer East Metal. East Metal’s modern manufacturing plant in Latvia has enabled Viby to increase production, design larger units and offer even more competitive prices. Viby expanded its UK sales, service and support structure in 2013. Our customers operate in numerous industry sectors, from construction and quarrying to waste/recycling, coal, ports and general bulk handling. We supply directly to end-users, rental and plant hire companies and have excellent links with some of the major global OEMs such as Volvo, Cat and Komatsu. Follow us here:
