“What if this hot air balloon could take us on a journey?” ✨

We recently completed new project in Tallinn.
We thought we would briefly tell you about it.

Restaurant: LaBocca Restaurants, Tallinn
Architects and Contractors: Liisi Murula Arhitekt11 , Andres Labi Ruumilabor, HN Steel OÜ

The challenge was to transform the client’s initial sketch into a real three-dimensional structure — a volumetric hot air balloon with a glossy surface and integrated internal lighting.

At first glance, it sounds simple: “just make a balloon.”
But behind every beautiful result there is precise engineering work.

The illuminated ceiling with a custom print was manufactured by Vecta Design OÜ⁠ using high-quality German material with a width of 2 meters. The print features high detail and vibrant color reproduction. All seams were welded using Swiss Micro Weld technology, ensuring exceptional strength and a virtually invisible finish.
