Here’s a sneak peek from our anniversary music video (full version on our page). Turns out 20 years of building heavy hardware doesn't mean you can't turn the amps up. Yes, our sales team actually picked up the instruments and recorded this from scratch.

20 years ago on October 20th, 2006 - the right idea met the right people at the right time. That was the day ElectroAir was born.

Twenty years later, our Ground Power Units & Ground Support Equipment runs in over 100 countries with 500+ clients worldwide. But more importantly: we managed to build heavy engineering and precise hardware without burning out the human side of the company.

To celebrate our 20th anniversary, we wanted to create something truly memorable. Taking the easy way out and typing a prompt into an AI tools just felt wrong. Instead, our talented team picked up actual instruments, recorded, wrote the lyrics, and shot a music video from scratch. That’s how "20 Years of Rock & Roll" came to life.

It’s completely handmade and slightly crazy for GPU/GSE manufacturing company in aviation industry - but that’s the whole point to show you that we are also humans and we give our people a chance to express themselves creatively. The exact same human care goes into every ground power unit we build and every customer request we answer. Machines do the heavy lifting, but the people make the difference.

We’re bringing this energy to GSE Expo Europe 2026 where we exhibit during 15-17 September at stand E07 at FIL Lisbon, Portugal.

This archive photo from 2010 shows ElectroAir equipment supporting a helicopter in severe winter conditions.

In the Norilsk region, temperatures can fall below −30°C, so ground support equipment must be ready to perform in extreme cold, snow and demanding operating environments.

Twelve years ago, this ElectroAir diesel GPU began its journey.

It was the first ElectroAir diesel GPU delivered in Estonia, the country where our company was founded.

Now, 12 years later, the unit has returned to ElectroAir for maintenance. It is still operating reliably and continues to support daily ground operations.

Friday Fact | From One Power Unit to a Complete Ground Power Solution

In 2007, one of ElectroAir’s first projects was the EAC-30 — a 30 kVA, 400 Hz frequency converter engineered with an unconventional 230 V input instead of the standard 400 V.

That was one power unit.

Today, we engineer complete ground power solutions that connect multiple elements of the aircraft stand into one integrated infrastructure.
